5. You'll get a WOOT
After I sneeze in the corpse's face, prick its hand with a needle and tickle its nose with a feather. I've seen too many of these political obituaries overturned on the autopsy table to celebrate before their ample white backsides are completely out the door.

9. Lol! We've been through "election poll" euphoria once too often
I believe the election poll is accurate, however, I also know facts don't count for much in the age of Bushco and Friends. I'll be happy when it's official that he's out.

19. "Electronic voting comes to Italy (as do conspiracy theories)"...
When Lucio Stanca, the minister of innovation and technology, began preparing Italy for electronic vote counting a few years ago, there were some naysayers. But test runs for European Parliament elections in 2004 and Italian regional elections in 2005 silenced the critics - temporarily.

With the arrival of the April 9 and 10 general elections, the dress rehearsals are over. Electronic vote tabulating will move beyond the test phase in Italy for the first time: It will be used in four of the nation's 20 regions and will affect a fifth of the population.

Detractors worry that mischief will mar the count, especially if there is a close race in any of the four regions, which have many undecided voters.

Silvio Berlusconi, who has been prime minister for five years, is running against Romani Prodi, a former president of the European Commission who heads a vast coalition of center-left parties.

Prodi has maintained a lead in opinion surveys but Berlusconi can never be counted out.

31. I was working for a NYS Assembly race in 2000
We lost, but Hillary and Gore "won". Two hours later, we were at a bar, and Florida went from blue to striped. There were a couple old black ladies that we so sad that we had lost the assembly race. God, they lost it at about 11:30 PM. It was the worst political loss in my life.

33. In 2000, msm CALLED Florida for Gore,
just like this OP called the election for the centrist. That is why I called it a 2000 flashback. As far as I know, no msm called Florida or Ohio for Kerry. Am I wrong?
