BREWSTER JENNINGS! MEDIA..WHERE ARE REPORTS ON BREWSTER JENNINGS?
when is anyone in the msm going to get this right?? when are they going to report to the American people about Brewster Jennings??

seems to me when we at Du have lots ofthreads about a subject it gets covered by someone..we need to rachet up Brewster Jennings...Most Americans know nothing about it..we need to bring this Plame case up many notches...

This isn't just about Outting Valerie Plame..as if that wasn't enough of treason committed by this White House.it was about outting an entire CIAcovert operation..and we need to put pressure on the msm to report it!!

The CIA's Plame/Brewster Jennings Damage Assessment Report

Sun Jul 17, 2005

snip:

Whenever there is a major intelligence f*ck-up, such as Aldrich Ames or Robert Hanssen, the CIA performs an exhaustive, meticulous damage assessment of the harm inflicted on our intelligence operations and national security.
Let's remind ourselves of the 18 month-long damage assessment the CIA conducted after catching Aldrich Ames:

For the past year and a half, an independent team of Intelligence Community analysts and operations officers has conducted a Damage Assessment of the actions of Aldrich Ames, who, while a CIA Directorate of Operations officer from 1985 to 1994, committed espionage for Soviet (and later Russian) intelligence. This Damage Assessment, commissioned by my predecessor, is now complete.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the CIA has conducted a painstaking, meticulous damage assessment of the harm caused by Rove and his co-conspirators, which led to the loss not just of Valerie Plame as an agent, but of Brewster-Jennings as a front company and the use of any agent ever who worked for that Brewster Jennings front.

This damage assessment report is presumably still classified. But you can bet Fitzgerald hauled its authors into the grand jury room, and whatever harm was done to our national security because of Rove's malignancy -- Fitzgerald knows about it.

70. Why has Joe Wilson been silent on this? you'ld think that if anyone would
publically discuss this, it would be him, but I haven't heard him mention it in any of his televised interviews. Why? Was the front company really completely disbanded? Is it illegal for him to discuss? If not, why the silence from him?

7. Also remember this piece from Larisa
Intelligence sources would not identify the specifics of Plame's work. They did, however, tell RAW STORY that her outing resulted in "severe" damage to her team and significantly hampered the CIA's ability to monitor nuclear proliferation.

Plame's team, they added, would have come in contact with A.Q. Khan's network in the course of her work on Iran.

snip

Three intelligence officers confirmed that other CIA non-official cover officers were compromised, but did not indicate the number of people operating under non-official cover that were affected or the way in which these individuals were impaired. None of the sources would say whether there were American or foreign casualties as a result of the leak.

Several intelligence officials described the damage in terms of how long it would take for the agency to recover. According to their own assessment, the CIA would be impaired for up to "ten years" in its capacity to adequately monitor nuclear proliferation on the level of efficiency and accuracy it had prior to the White House leak of Plame Wilson's identity.

http://rawstory.com/news/2005/Outed_CIA_officer_was_working_on_0213.html

This is extremely important. Brewster Jennings & Associates was the CIA's means of acquiring WMD proliferation intel in Iran. So to say that destroying Brewster Jennings in 2003 impaired the CIA for
up to "ten years" means that when the neo-cons talk about the "threat" posed to our country by Iran, they are literally talking out of their ass because they destroyed the means to assess that capability!

Khan Job: Bush Spiked Probe of Pakistan's Dr. Strangelove, BBC reported in 2001
Monday, February 9, 2004
E-Mail Article
Printer Friendly Version

On November 7, 2001, BBC Television's Newsnight and the Guardian of London reported that the Bush administration thwarted investigations of Dr. A.Q. Khan, known as the "father" of Pakistan's atomic bomb. This week, Khan confessed to selling atomic secrets to Libya, North Korea, and Iran.

The Bush Administration has expressed shock at disclosures that Pakistan, our ally in the war on terror, has been running a nuclear secrets bazaar. In fact, according to the British news teams' sources within US intelligence agencies, shortly after President Bush's inauguration, his National Security Agency (NSA) effectively stymied the probe of Khan Research Laboratories, the Pakistani agency in charge of the bomb project. CIA and other agents told BBC they could not investigate the spread of “Islamic Bombs” through Pakistan because funding appeared to originate in Saudi Arabia.

According to both sources and documents obtained by the BBC, the Bush Administration “spike” of the investigation of Dr. Khan's Lab followed from a wider policy of protecting key Saudi Arabians including the Bin Laden family.

Noam Chomsky, after reading the story on page one of the Times of India, commented, “Why wasn’t this all over US papers?

The "Back-Off" Directive and the Islamic Bomb

... A top-level CIA operative who spoke with us on condition of strictest anonymity said that, after Bush took office, "There was a major policy shift" at the National Security Agency. Investigators were ordered to "back off " from any inquiries into Saudi Arabian financing of terror networks, especially if they touched on Saudi royals and their retainers. That put the Bin Ladens, a family worth a reported $12 billion and a virtual arm of the Saudi royal household, off limits for investigation. Osama was the exception; he remained a wanted man, but agents could not look too closely at how he filled his piggy bank. The key rule of any investigation, "follow the money," was now violated, and investigations-at least before September 11-began to die.

And there was a lot to investigate-or in the case of the CIA and FBI under Bush-a lot to ignore. Through well-known international arms dealers (I'm sorry, but in this business, sinners are better sources than saints) our team was tipped off to a meeting of Saudi billionaires at the Hotel Royale Monceau in Paris in May 1996 with the financial representative of Osama bin Laden's network. The Saudis, including a key Saudi prince joined by Muslim and non-Muslim gun traffickers, met to determine who would pay how much to Osama. This was not so much an act of support but of protection-a pay off to keep the mad bomber away from Saudi Arabia.

....

I probed our CIA contact for specifics of investigations that
were hampered by orders to back off of the Saudis. He told us that the Khan Laboratories investigation had been effectively put on hold.

You may never have heard of Khan Laboratories, but if this planet blows to pieces this year, it will likely be thanks to Khan Labs' creating nuclear warheads for Pakistan's military. Because investigators had been tracking the funding for this so-called "Islamic Bomb" back to Saudi Arabia, under Bush security restrictions, the inquiry was stymied. (The restrictions were lifted, the agent told me without a hint of dark humor, on September 11.)

Dr. A. Q. Khan is the Dr. Strangelove of Pakistan, the "father" of their bomb and, says a former associate, a crusader for its testing . . . on humans. On April 25, 1998, Khan met at the Kushab Research Center with General Jehangir Karamat, then army chief of staff, to plan a possible preemptive nuclear strike on New Delhi, India. The Saudis lit a fuse under this demented scheme by telling Pakistan intelligence that Israel had shipped India warplanes in preparation for a conventional attack on Pakistan. We only know these details because a young researcher who claims he was at the meeting wrote a horrified letter threatening to make the plan to bomb India public, a threat which appears to have halted the scheme.

....

Whether his story was real or bogus, I can't possibly tell. The point is that intelligence agencies under Clinton, based on many other leads as well, were following up on the Saudi connection until the Bush team interfered.

9. Without the check and balance that Brewster-Jennings would have
provided on Pre-War Iran Intel, the neocons can and will throw out any number of reasons to invade Iran. Since the CIA is no longer able to provide accurate intel on this subject the WH will go unchecked.

Pretty convenient if you ask me, remove the only authority to call bullshit on the WH's plans on Iran and you get a WH that has to answer to No one on Iranian War Intel.

Sounds like a free rape of a country if you ask me.

Israel's Mole Inside the Pentagon

Lesley Stahl of CBS reported Friday that the FBI is about to "roll up" a spy working for Israel from within the office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon. "the suspected mole supplied Israel with classified materials that include secret White House policy deliberations on Iran. " The FBI investigation, headed up by Dave Szady, has involved wiretaps, undercover surveillance and photography that CBS News was told document the passing of classified information from the mole, to the men at American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a powerful pro-Israel lobby in Washington, and on to the Israelis. CBS sources say that last year the suspected spy, described as a trusted analyst at the Pentagon, turned over a presidential directive on U.S. policy toward Iran while it was, "in the draft phase when U.S. policy-makers were still debating the policy."

79. Classified document to destabilize Iran
In reference to the CBS story you posted here, an excerpt from an article:
The Larry Franklin spy probe reveals an escalating fight over control of Iran policy.
By Laura Rozen and Jason Vest

...But on August 27, when CBS broke the story that the FBI was close to arresting an alleged “Israeli mole” in the office of the Pentagon’s No. 3 official, Douglas Feith, it became clear that Franklin was in trouble. News reports said that the FBI had evidence that Franklin had passed a classified draft national-security presidential directive (NSPD) on Iran to AIPAC. What’s more, reports said, the FBI wasn’t just interested in Franklin. For the past two years, it had been conducting a counterintelligence probe into whether AIPAC had served as a conduit for U.S. intelligence to Israel, an investigation about which National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice was briefed shortly after the Bush administration came into office.

In the flurry of news reports that followed, the scope of the FBI investigation seemed potentially enormous. Citing senior U.S. officials, The Washington Post reported that “the FBI is examining whether highly classified material from the National Security Agency … was also forwarded to Israel,” and that the investigation of Franklin was “coincidental” to that broader FBI probe. Time magazine reported that Franklin had been enlisted by the FBI to place a series of monitored telephone calls (scripted by the FBI) to get possible evidence on others, including allies of Ahmad Chalabi, a favorite of Pentagon neoconservatives. Chalabi was alleged to have told his Iranian intelligence contacts that the United States had broken their communications codes -- a breach that prompted a break in U.S. support for Chalabi last spring -- and the FBI wanted to know who had shared that highly classified information with Chalabi. What’s more, an independent expert on Israeli espionage said he had been interviewed by the FBI in June and in several follow-up calls, and that the scope of the senior FBI investigators’ questioning was broad and extremely detailed.

~snip~

At the time the CBS report aired in late August -- incidentally, on the Friday evening before the opening of the Republican national convention -- custody of the Franklin investigation was being transferred from the head of the FBI counterintelligence unit, David Szady, to U.S. Attorney Paul McNulty, a Bush appointee, in Alexandria, Virginia, as the case moved to the grand-jury phase.

And then, in mid-September, news of the Franklin investigation went dark.

* * *

The classified document that Franklin allegedly passed to AIPAC concerned a controversial proposal by Pentagon hard-liners to destabilize Iran. The latest iteration of the national-security presidential directive was drafted by a Pentagon civilian and avid neocon, Michael Rubin, who hoped it would be adopted as official policy by the Bush administration. But in mid-June, Bush’s national-security advisers canceled consideration of the draft, partly in response to resistance from some at the State Department and the National Security Council, according to a recent memo written by Rubin and obtained by The American Prospect. No doubt also contributing to the administration’s decision was the swelling insurgency and chaos of postwar Iraq...

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:p7bTWuXNtKoJ:www.prospect.org/web/page.ww%3Fsection%3Droot%26name%3DViewPrint%26articleId%3D8764+Lawrence+Franklin+National+Security+Presidential+Directive+&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=2

Written by Rubin, now with AEI, who, btw, was on NPR yesterday, saying the Iranians have to follow "all of their" demands: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=903527&mesg_id=920079

18. Your welcome, flyarm! Larisa found a lot of dots for us to connect.
Knowing Brewster Jennings was working specifically on Iran, this casts an earlier discovery in a different light:

Secret team looked to ‘solve’ WMD problem?

This smaller unnamed team was tasked with interviewing former Iraqi intelligence officers in hopes of securing help with a “political WMD” problem, a source close to the UN Security Council says.

During the summer of 2003 through the fall of 2003, the team, whose members who were not named by sources, is said to have interviewed many Iraqi intelligence and former intelligence officers. The UN source says that the political problem discussed had more to do with solving the lack of WMD than anything else.

“They come in the summer of 2003, bringing in Iraqis, interviewing them,” the UN source said. “Then they start talking about WMD and they say to that ‘Our President is in trouble. He went to war saying there are WMD and there are no WMD. What can we do? Can you help us?’”

The source said intelligence officers understood quickly what they were being asked to do and that the assumption was they were being asked to provide WMD in order for coalition forces to find them.

Spurious attempt to tie Iran, Iraq to nuclear arms plot bypassed U.S. intelligence channels

Larisa Alexandrovna
Published: January 11, 2006

SNIP

The story that was peddled -- which detailed how an Iranian intelligence team infiltrated Iraq prior to the start of the war in March of 2003, and stole enriched uranium to use in their own nuclear weapons program -- was part of an attempt to implicate both countries in a WMD plot. It later emerged that the Iranian exile was trying to collect money for his tales, sources say.

snip

Intelligence sources and a source close to the UN security counsel tell RAW STORY Murray took Ali (either Ghorbanifar or his agent) to Iraq in order to retrace the footsteps of the alleged mission in which the uranium was stolen from Saddam's own stockpile and taken back to Iran. In the end, sources say, the entire event proved a wild goose chase because Ali's earlier clarity all but evaporated.

snip

Ghorbanifahr has strong ties to Michael Ledeen, and both of them were involved in a controversial meeting in Rome of 2001. That meeting, whose purpose is unknown, included high level officials in Italian intelligence, Iranian nationals and Larry Franklin, a former Defense Department analyst who current pled guilty to charges of passing classified information to Israel and Iran. Also in attendance was Middle East expert Harold Rhode, also under investigation for charges of passing classified information to Israel and Iran. Both Rhode and Franklin worked for Feith in the Office of Special plans.

snip

Who arranged the meetings and their ultimate purpose remains unclear. One intelligence official, however, described the series of events and the market of intelligence trafficking as follows: "If you were going to launder intel to make up a war, you could easily send some fool on an errand."

http://rawstory.com/news/2005/Backchannels_used_to_bypass_U.S._government_0111.html

What does all this mean? If there was a WMD plot that originated in Iran through Ghorbanifar, perhaps Brewster Jennings was aware of it. There's a great motivation for the neo-cons to destroy Brewster Jennings through the leaking of Plame.

How's that for a theory?

15. was Brewster Jennings primary target of leak?
That is a question I have been asking at several blogs, but no one has picked up on it yet. With the revelation that Bush declassified docs prior to leaks, and recalling how he kept defining the crime as "leaking classified information" it is clear that this whole charade has been a plot within a plot. That the administration has been gaming throughout this extended Grand jury investigation. It's the typical "look over here, look over here" diversion while escalating events in Iran and obscuring events in Iraq has been the goal.

In light of the administrations sword rattling and threat toward Iran re: their nuclear readiness, the outing of Brewster Jennings and the crippling of info gathering on WMD and Iran seems very significant.

A DOD whistleblower reportedly details an attempt by a covert U.S. team to plant weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The team was said to have been later killed by friendly fire due to CIA incompetence.

Pentagon Whistleblower Reveals CIA/ DoD Fiascos

IN a world exclusive, Al Martin Raw.com has published a news story about a Department of Defense whistleblower who has revealed that a US covert operations team had planted "Weapons of Mass Destruction" (WMDs) in Iraq -- then "lost" them when the team was killed by so-called "friendly fire."

The Pentagon whistleblower, Nelda Rogers, is a 28-year veteran debriefer for the Defense Department. She has become so concerned for her safety that she decided to tell the story about this latest CIA-military fiasco in Iraq.

According to Al Martin Raw.com, "Ms.Rogers is number two in the chain of command within this DoD special intelligence office. This is a ten-person debriefing unit within the central debriefing office for the Department of Defense.

Here's more reports:

US Unloading WMDs in Iraq

TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- Over the past few days, in the wake of the bombings in Karbala and the ideological disputes that delayed the signing of Iraq's interim constitution, there have been reports that U.S. forces have unloaded a large cargo of parts for constructing long-range missiles and weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in the southern ports of Iraq.

A reliable source from the Iraqi Governing Council, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the Mehr News Agency that U.S. forces, with the help of British forces stationed in southern Iraq, had made extensive efforts to conceal their actions.

He added that the cargo was unloaded during the night as attention was still focused on the aftermath of the deadly bombings in Karbala and the signing of Iraq's interim constitution.

The source said that in order to avoid suspicion, ordinary cargo ships were used to download the cargo, which consisted of weapons produced in the 1980s and 1990s.

21. yes, that's what I've been talking about
the MSM is all over about they wanted to get back at Wilson. But, they outed Brewster Jennings. A network that was monitoring WMDs. Now why would they do that, unless, some corporations were into selling WMDs to said "enemies" and/or they wanted to close down the network so they could make up any BS they wanted without oversight. To knowlingly take down Brewster Jennings, to me, is TREASON! Since they monitored the sale and transport of WMDs, it was in the best interest for the security of the US and the safety of US citizens!!!

It's really quite a simple story, isn't it? It's pretty bloody obvious. And yet the media will not touch this issue (the REAL issue) with a ten-foot pole.

Most of the Corp Media is still protecting the Bush Regime. Most were complicit in the push for the Illegal Invasion of Iraq because they would make billions from it and the Bush Regime grants favors to the Media. Most of the Corp. Media owners are RWingers.

Trading With The Enemy
Matthew Swibel, 04.19.04

If you want to get round export controls, just sell the product to a front company in Dubai. The middlemen will take it from there.
On paper the shipment was harmless enough. Sixty-six American-made spark gaps--high-speed electrical switches used in medical devices to break up kidney stones--traveled from the manufacturer in Salem, Massachusetts late last summer to a buyer in Secaucus, New Jersey. From there, according to the export declaration, they were to be shipped to their ultimate destination in Cape Town, South Africa. But these spark gaps can also be used to detonate nuclear bombs--and it turned out that the goods were aimed at an end user in Pakistan, with a stopover in Dubai. The commercial capital of the United Arab Emirates, where trading activity accounts for the biggest single chunk (16.5%) of a $20 billion economy, has become a favorite diversion point on the Persian Gulf for shady cargo. With no export controls and hardly any bureaucracy at ports, airports and free zones, this entrepôt provides stellar cover for smugglers hoping to bypass U.S. embargoes.
On Oct. 3 U.S. investigators got a tip from a South African source. The shipment was headed for Islamabad via a DHL freight-forwarding service on Emirates Airlines--Dubai's government carrier. Hours after the Emirates Airbus jet landed at Dubai International Airport on Oct. 20, a U.S. special agent there tracked down the spark gaps to the airline's cargo shed, contacted its director of security and demanded to inspect the box. The response? Not a chance, according to the U.A.E.'s director of customs. The next day the goods, valued at $30,000, arrived in Pakistan aboard another Emirates flight.

The alleged shipper, an Israeli national named Asher Karni, was arrested in December at Denver International Airport. He awaits trial in the U.S. for conspiring to export goods without a license, a crime that could result in a ten-year sentence and a $250,000 fine per count. Neither Emirates Airlines nor the U.A.E. has been criticized publicly by U.S. officials.

--snip--

Still, "companies are playing fast and loose," says Adam Pener of Conflict Securities Advisory Group, a Washington, D.C.-based consultancy to multinational businesses. Halliburton, for example, manages to do business with Iran obliquely. Its Dubai-based affiliate, Halliburton Products & Services Ltd., allegedly has no Americans on staff; the Houston oil services company claims it has no direct ownership of the operation. Nevertheless, FORBES has obtained documents showing how Kala Ltd., the British arm of the National Iranian Oil Co., solicited at least 17 separate bids from the affiliate during 1997 and 1998 (when Vice President Cheney was Halliburton's chief executive). A few bids include handwritten notes that say "FOB Dubai Airport" or "FOB Dubai port"--meaning that the U.A.E. was just a way station between Halliburton and Tehran. Halliburton would not comment on the bids. In any event, earlier this year the Treasury Department reopened a 2001 inquiry into Halliburton's Iran operations and its Dubai-based partner.

Halliburton Sold Nuclear Triggers to Libya
13-Apr-03
Halliburton

SocialFunds.com writes, "Halliburton pleaded guilty in 1995 to criminal charges of violating a U.S. ban on exports to Libya by selling Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi six pulse neutron generators between 1987 and 1989. These devices fall into the dual use category: in addition to functioning as oil- and gas-well survey tools, they can be used to detonate nuclear weapons." So how soon will Cheney decide to send US troops to destroy the triggers his company illegally provided? Impeach Bush and Cheney!

Fitzgerald was going to delve into this...i still have hopes he is..the ultimate treason...that this admin has done to this nation and those who serve her..honorably..

this is the ultimate cover up..and the media is almost as much responsible!

when will any of these media types grow some balls and tell this story??

this <is> the story!! Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson are only a part of it..

when will any senators or congress persons stand tall and tell the American people the real reason for outing Valerie Plame..was Brewster Jennings...and Cheneys criminal endeavor against this nation???????

why will no one in the media expose the treasonous cheney??????????

because they are too comfortable $$$$$..and gutless???

this has put all our safety in jeapordy..and worst of all it possibly killed many of our covert agents world wide or got them a permanent room in a prison! and risked the lives of those agents who put their lives on the line every day for our safety...

this is the worst of all treason!

72. Sweet vindication! Perhaps there will be justice after all.
Thanks formercia. Speaking of CIA, here's something new from Ray McGovern. Check out the last paragraph. Right in step with what we're thinking:

Blowing Cheney's Cover
Ray McGovern
April 10, 2006

Ray McGovern works with Tell the Word, the publishing arm of the ecumenical Church of the Saviour in Washington, DC. A 27-year veteran of the CIA, he is co-founder of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity.

When you invest so much effort into tangling the web—in this case, corrupting intelligence analysis in the 2002 National Intelligence Estimate on Iraq—it becomes hard to know when to stop. Vice President Dick Cheney went to inordinate lengths, including 10 visits to CIA headquarters, to ensure that that crucial NIE on weapons of mass destruction was alarmist enough to scare Congress into authorizing war. And when the evidence turned out to be flimsy, Cheney had a back-up plan: The CIA made me do it.

Ever since their exaggerated claims about Iraq’s possession of WMD turned out to be baseless, the Bush administration’s defense has rested on blaming the government’s intelligence analysts. But one of the great revelations from Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald’s court filing last week is more evidence that the White House—not the CIA—distorted intelligence on Iraq. It was then-chief of staff I. Lewis Libby, acting on orders from Cheney, who presented evidence of Iraq seeking nuclear weapons material to reporters as a “key judgment” from the NIE, when in fact it was a subject of debate in the intelligence community.

The White House plan to scapegoat the intelligence community about Iraq—aided by eager-to-please CIA Director George Tenet—worked beautifully. But only for a while. The plan faltered once it became clear there were no WMD and former Ambassador Joseph Wilson blew the whistle on the centerpiece report used to deceive Congress and conjure up the specter of a mushroom cloud. That report conveyed the cockamamie story about Iraq seeking uranium in the African country of Niger, in which Cheney took uncommon interest.

snip

Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald, however, has an independent bent—plus the authority to look these aspects of the litany of leaks. I’ll be he has a good idea of who orchestrated the forgery. Indeed, I will not be surprised if the operation is eventually be traced back to the office of the vice president.

63. Cheney's private sector career:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Cheney#Private_sector_career

Private sector career

With Democrats returning to the White House in January 1993, Cheney left the Department of Defense and joined the American Enterprise Institute. From 1995 until 2000, he served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Halliburton, a Fortune 500 company and market leader in the energy sector. Under Cheney's tenure, the number of Halliburton subsidiaries in offshore tax havens increased from 9 to 44. Meanwhile, Halliburton went from paying $302 million in company taxes in 1998 to overpaying taxes by $85 million and getting a refund of that amount in 1999. As CEO of Halliburton, Cheney lobbied to lift U.S. sanctions against Iran and Libya, saying they hurt business and failed to stop terrorism. He also sat on the Board of Directors of Procter & Gamble, Union Pacific, and EDS.

In 1997, he, along with Donald Rumsfeld and others, founded the "Project for the New American Century," a think tank whose self-stated goal is to "promote American global leadership". He was also part of the board of adviser of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA) before becoming Vice President.

I think it will come out soon from Wilson or Hersh or the many others in the know. A stage has to be set for the basics to be understood first. It's a huge, complicated twisted topic, thanks to the liar in chief and fiends. The edumacation will continue, I am hoping. Unless, of course, there's a huge distraction....

whats complicated ?? someone in this white house outed the 13 yr Covert operation
BREWSTER JENNINGS..that was involved in clandestine opps to know where wmd were in the world..they were outed ..and it was the opps Valerie PLame worked within..

she was not the only cia covert agent destroyed by the white house outing Brewster!!

an assessment was made by the cia ..we deserve to know what was the result of this white house outing this operation..hell we paid for this operation..for 13 years..and i am sure at a pretty hefty price..but not near the price of those outed and now worthless to our national security!

who was responsible?? how many agents did we loose?..how many foreign covert agents did we loose...who is responsible for this treason??????????

thats not so complicated...

it just may take guts of any real journalist to expose this the way it should be!

do we have any journalists..in msm who have those guts??

i wonder...

now there are many real journalists with web's that have had the guts..and i praise them ..and i applaud them from my heart and soul...

but the msm..they are shills and frauds!

Shortly after the "leak"...the Iranians executed some "spies"...was that linked to the covert operation? These are questions we need answers to.

Peace.

68. I agree! what I meant by complicated...
when the story first broke there were posts here that said It's NOT about Plame, and vice versa. It's about the NIE!, it's about Part of the NIE! It's about The Timing! the classified, declassified. It's Cheny, it's Rove, it's Libby.

I did find it 'complicated' (but so thankful that there are so many here that ask the right questions and do the connecting of dots) to fit what Bush was saying now and what we at DU knew for some time.

Now, if I knew Nothing about the BJ connection or Wilson's version of events and the horrific implications of killing a 10 year wmd program, this would certainly be just too much to take at one sitting.

With Hersh and Wilson, etc., making the rounds on the subject now, it's just a matter of time before the BJ word comes out. Whether the Meddle-ia will take it anywhere is of course, another matter. So we have to pound on Brewster/Jennings when the word brought into the arena by those closest to the story.

66. Good Point. This was mentioned on Air America yesterday
on the Springer show by a call in. It does involve more than one CIA operative & may have affected a whole operation. With Bush's henchmen in charge of the CIA expect don't expect this damage report anytime soon if at all. Maybe a conscientious CIA worker will 'leak' it to the press.
