Hey, Skinner, is it possible to pin the Alito Hearing thread at the top
of the page like we did during a couple of other major events so we don't have to go hunting it all the time?

3. Third Nomination! Still time to sign online petition to your Senators
to STOP ALITO!

I urge you to vote not to confirm Samuel Alito to a lifetime position on the Supreme Court of the United States.

6. A simple bookmark ("favorites") in your browser solves all.
I tend to avoid requesting others to perform a service when I can accomplish it simply and directly myself.

7. Could you write that down for me, please? A post-it would work.

**ducking** I'm just teasin'!

Pinning is a good idea. Bookmarking is, too. Pinning all of the threads the topic has been divided into for ease-of-use probably makes that unwieldy, though. So, bookmarking it is.

8. I "alerted" on the lastest thread asking to pin it
maybe that will work?

9. Generally speaking we don't pin fast moving threads like this
The problem is that the threads grow too big, so the unofficial protocol is to lock the thread at around 100 posts and continue the discussion to another thread.
