Oklahoma paper expresses disappointment in Bewsh!
Pretty sad when a daily deep in the heart of Red Oklahoma can't even muster up support for the crapcake that is the Lancelot Link presidency

And to me, this is the telling paragraph, and something I've been asking Bewsh slobberers for years now:

The president has sunk so far down in the polls it’s hard to imagine he could get any lower without being adept at limbo dancing. And it’s no wonder: Even staunch loyalists are at pains to name one positive thing Bush has accomplished during his five years in office, except perhaps the seating of two new justices (presumed to be conservative by ardent Bush supporters, who could be sorely disappointed if they merely turn out to be fair).

1. "seating of two new justices" - not a positive thing
Alito and Roberts will prove to be two of the most negative and long-lasting consequences of this misadministration.

2. Tahlequah is not really deeply red.
With the exception of 2004, that area of Oklahoma has been reliably Democratic.
Doesn't make it any less nice to see however.

4. They need to realize it's not just the failure of one person (Bush)...
...As it is, these wingnuts want to simply blame Bush rather than admit that their entire ideology is at fault. So long as so-called "conservative" priorities remain in place, it doesn't matter who the president is now or will be in the future, America will keep going down the toilet.

5. Very telling line - Bush supporters might be disappointed
"if they merely turn out to be fair" - whoa . . .

You mean, if they turn out to do the job they really are supposed to do, not push an agenda, the rightwingers will be the ones screaming foul? :silly:
