Wow, the noise machine is on full blast
look at DU and every place else.

The big stories all of a sudden are -

Nuking Iran

Immigration

The real big story - BUSH IS A TRAITOR is nowhere to be found.

Bush admitted to outting a CIA covert operation for political gain. That is TREASON.

Yet, if you turn on the M$M you wouldn't have a clue that Bush has publicly admitted that he obstructed justice, lied to a Grand Jury investigation, and authorized the leaking of state secrets.

These other stories are important too, but we can't let them continue to distract us so easily. Maybe we can keep that in mind when ever we get so caught up in these suddenly 'major' distractions, ah excuse me, issues.

3. One thing I've learned from these people
Is that if they want you to watch the right hand, you better damn well look at the left, because something is going on they don't want you to see.
One thing you have to give these bastards credit for they are masters at distraction and misdirection.

14. The Politics of Prestidigitation.
I've contributed to the noise myself, unfortunately. I just think that people have 'gotten it' now. There really is no way out of this dilemma for Bush. All he can do now is to moderately adjust the angle of the slope of his decline, if that. It seems that every action or response of his steepens the slope.

7. I heard the leak probe being reported on the radio this a.m.
Jazz station, Orlando area, during the morning commute. It greatly heartened me. Not everyone is allowing themselves to be distracted!

8. Actually, I would have a clue.
The MSM is covering the leak story, and as soon as Fitzgerald releases more informatiion, it will again be featured prominently. I'm always amused by people who think they know the order in which news stories should be prioritized.

10. Oh come on
First of He didn't admit to outing a CIA covert operation - go back and look at what he actually admitted to. This is a big deal, but it isn't that. He admitted to declassifying information and authorizing the leak of that information, but that information wasn't Valerie Plame's name.

Secondly, Immigration and Nuking Iran are important issues. They may not be the most important stories in your mind, but that doesn't mean they aren't important.

16. Valerie Plame wasn't the only one he outed
He also outed Brewster Jennings and that is a big deal.

11. I noticed the same thing about the spy-plane story.
The one where Blair and Bush planned to paint a spy plane with UN colors, hoping Iraq would shoot it down and start a war. When my wife read about this, she nearly fell off her chair.

It's such a huge story and yet.....No one seems to care. If you cannot get anyone interested in THAT story then we're doomed.

15. Karl Rove needed a nuke-sized distracton for this!
but I think Sy Hersh blew his little surprise before he could roll out the product in a timely fashion.

He's just throwing everything he has at us, and his enemies, the liberal media are helping him, for some reason, almost as if they were on his side. Strange.
