Good letter...All of this was tragically foreseeable and noted prior to both elections but the "intelligent American people" are basically fools. The man was not prepared for the job, possesses absolutely no intellectual curiosity, and has allowed things to occur on his watch that will have a profoundly negative impact on this country for decades to come. Move over Arthur and Garfield...you have company.
Sir, You are a disgrace. While I didn't vote for you in the 2000 election, I stood behind you as did the rest of the country after the tragedy of September 11. But once you saw the opportunity to invade Iraq.... you did so... and fabricated the reasons for doing so. I just saw a film clip from your talk today (April 10) at Johns Hopkins. You are seen saying that we have now liberated Iraq. What a joke! Do you not see what is going on over there? Perhaps you should have your staff prepare a DVD for you to review...sort of like how you got your news about Katrina. And anyway, why are we charged with liberating Iraq? Don't you recall before the first election telling the American people that "we aren't in the business of nation building"? Maybe you changed your mind when Cheney let you know how much money Halliburton can make re-building what we blew up. You and your administration are the worst in the history of this country. I as well as millions of other Americans can't wait for your current term to end. Thank goodness for the XXII Amendment! I would love to discuss these concerns and others with you or even with a staff member. Give me a call sometime.
