It is the best spot for her in this upcoming election ... It puts her name and bucks into the game, and it helps to mitigate the 10 year smear campaign ... It eases the whole woman in charge thing ... THEN, it sets her up to make the presidential run on the backend ...

My ticket all along has been Clark/Hillary ...

I am not opposed to him I just don't get the basis for the enthusiasm. Is it is military credentials that are viewed as unassailable and a sellingpoint for moderate voters? or is it what he has said?

I started looking into him, and I like what I see a lot ...

The military creds are big ... It TOTALLY mitigates the R spin about Ds are soft on defense/security ... No comparison to Kerry, who was not a career guy, who came back and did the anti-war stuff, and who "took the high road" when the freepers swiftboated him ... NOT knocking him, I think he is patriot and all ... But, Wes has the career thing, moved up to generalship on a BIG level ... Commanded combined forces from multiple countries, ran a successful campaign, and is a decorated and injured field vet ...

Out of the gates, it just is HUGE in taking one of the big legs of negative campaigning against Ds away from the freepers ... He is just the right age ... Good looking, from Arkansas (or lived there), so he ain't a "northerner" ...

In following him, I found him to be VERY intelligent, tops in his class at a military institute, BUT also cleary compassionate ... You can just see it in his eyes ... Soft spoken, and nearly all his positions are solidly progressive ...

He carries himself so well ... For a guy to consistently do bits on Fox, and not even break a sweat while beating them at their own game ... Not too many libs/progressives can take on conservatives without blowing a gasket, and that includes me ...

National security and our status in the world are going to be H U G E in 2008 ... Iraq will be a complete or never ending disaster, and who knows what other can of worms this crew will open up ... Wes has the experience, and status to be a guy who can start to clean the mess up ...

A Hill VP matches well ... At least on the surface, she will look the role of domestic manager to his role as commander in chief ... She would bring her "resources" as well as a lot of experience in winning two presidential campaigns, and being in the white house during a darn good time for our country ...

name recognition alone with the fact that they are together again side by side.

i know that doesnt mean alot, but to un-informed people you never know what might push you over the edge to win it.

i really think gore should be the nominee... kind of a correcting of the huge mistake and giving the rightful winner his office.
i think it not only unify the party, a gore/clinton ticket, but grab moderates.

...but it would only solidify a loss for us in 2008. Rationally or not, too many people hate Hillary Clinton for her to be much more than a coffin nail in our upcoming attempt to save America from fascism and corporatism.

A woman running 2nd on the ticket would not be the precedent-buster that being the first woman president would be... but it would be an excellent move in that direction.

14. I personally do not see any electoral upside.

Running mates need to deliver there home staye..NY is solidly DEM anyway The only way she brings across swing states is if she creates an explosiv gender gap that neutralis the religious right. I just think that is a crap shoot at best.

My guess is that elctorally unless he is the presidential nominee, Warner is the best VP option.
