April 11 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush's 32 percent approval rating among Californians is the lowest for a sitting president in the state since Richard Nixon's 24 percent in August 1974, according to a poll released today.

The Field Research Corp. poll said 62 percent of Californians disapprove of Bush's performance and 64 percent said the country is going in the wrong direction; 26 percent said the country is on the right track.

Field's February poll of 729 adults taken from April 3 to April 7 said 56 percent disapproved of the president's performance and 38 percent approved.

The president's handling of the Iraq war had 31 percent approval, the lowest yet, and 65 percent disapproval. On the economy, 57 percent of the state's adults disapproved of the president while 36 percent approved.

1. You are a witness that CA is not turning red
-- as they will try to claim once HAVA is fully implemented.

2. Poll
What scares me the most, is the 26to32 percent that still support this failed administration. What do you think is in their minds and what can ber done to bring them out of the rethugs. hypnotic spell.

3. Yeah but we have problems now!
Like electronic voting machine type problems!
which are currently being challenged but its going to be hard to beat Arnold and his new appointed secretary of state Bruce McPherson!

2006 is not looking good if we will voting on electronic machines that dont have a great track record!
