Bushbots LIVE! -- yes, even here in San Francisco!
This was a column today asking folks who voted for GW if they were sorry. I present you -- from the center of that leftcoast liberal bastion of hippies, fruits, and nuts -- the voices of Bush voters.

Read it and weep....

A few samples:

Scott Abramson, San Mateo
Absolutely not. Bush may be unpopular, but unlike his 2004 opponent John "I-voted-for-the-war-before-I-voted-against-it" Kerry, at least Bush doesn't anchor his principles to opinion polls. And most important of all, Bush will not surrender to Islamofascist terror.

Marietta Crane, San Francisco
My main reason for voting for Bush was that I felt he would be able to improve the economy. As a result of his fiscal policies, the economy is now booming and millions of new jobs have been created since he was re-elected.

Billy Jeffrey, San Francisco
I voted for Bush, and I am immensely satisfied with my choice. He is performing very well while under attack from without and within. The thought of either of those weak-kneed liberals Al Gore or John Kerry being in charge of our country during these trying times really frightens me.

I feel icky that these people live in my vicinity. :scared:

4. I guess I somewhat mirror them
I'm a flame throwing liberal here in South Mississippi. I'm sure the locals who know me and my politics feel icky too. Or that could just be their day to day hygiene. bush is cowardly garbage. He couldn't carry John Kerry's jockstrap competently. How could bush anchor his principles in anything, he does not have any principles.

6. "economy is booming.."
Edited on Tue Apr-11-06 01:53 PM by ceile
What planet does this person live on? I just paid $2.60 for a gallon of gas (actually I couldn't afford a whole gallon so $2 got me 3/4), I can't find a job that pays over $13/h any where and 2 of my favorite shops have gone out of business in the past 6 months. Where is this "boom" I keep hearing about?????

edit for spelling

15. i disagree with you
respectfully. I am wealthy by most standards - but i STILL worry about putting my son through college, the 2.79 per gallon i paid this morning gfor gas (and thinking that in 3 months I will think THAT was CHEAP), the reduction in my medical benefits this calendar year, the increase in my property taxes to help fund a shitty NCLB law, and a lot of other issues that are the direct result of this asshole administration. Just because you're "wealthy" does not make you immune to the issues of the day. Or did you mean "WEALTHY" as in a Brazillionaire????

16. Wealthy, as in "republican wealthy."
I see that you are not really wealthy if you complain about the price of gas.

7. Wanna have some fun?
Ask a BushBot to define fascism. What exactly is an Islamofascist? I have yet to find one that could define it. 8 to 1 odds that the response will attack the "Clenis". Happens almost every time.
