2. I see failed impeachment in the cards. Let me explain a little

Articles of Impeachment are introduced into the House. If there are enough votes in the House in favor of the Articles, they are sent to the Senate, where the trial is held. It only requires a simple majority. If two-thirds of all senators vote that he is guilty, the president will be dethroned.

I don't think it will be possible to remove him. Democrats only have 44 seats at present. 67 are needed.

There is almost no way you could go from 44 seats in the Senate to 67 between today and 2008. It is a statistical long-shot. Even if you won the 67th seat in 2008, Bush will already be leaving office anyway, and you can't impeach a president who isn't even in office anymore.

I've been saying it for awhile. The only thing to restore the world's confidence in the US is a military-led left-wing coup led by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, citing a Constitutional crisis based upon the 2000 and 2004 elections.

As the results of the elections are a fraud, any action by the Dubya administration is illegal, hence the Joint Chiefs have no mandate in Iraq or Afghanistan. Hence they need new elections to get an adminstration in place to tell them what they're really supposed to be doing.
