I need a list of corrupt Republicans and their crimes |
Last week, Randi Rhodes read a list of Republican sex crimes and I found that list online very easily. Does anyone have a list of the scandals that have plagued Republican elected officials? The phone jamming incident leading to the White House is the most recent one I can think of. I am having a 'conversation' with a coworker, who claims that the Democrats are just as corrupt. He mentioned the John Conyers babysitting scandal. :eyes: Give me a break!
Thank you in advance. :-) |

bush lies
About winning a fair election About serving honorably in the military About being an honest businessman About his drunk driving arrest About him being just a “good ole boy” like the rest of us About the scientific evidence on arsenic in drinking water About the scientific evidence on global warming About the safety of air quality at ground zero on 9-11 About who the tax cuts benefited About the fact that Ken Lay was a very good and long-time friend About Weapons of Mass Destruction About the need to land on a carrier Bush has lied and lied again The question is why should we trust him when he or his administration turns out information that new jobs are being created and that unemployment is going down? bush fakes things There's just too many fake incidents since 2000 There was the capture of Sadaam that was "recreated" There were the interrogations at GITMO that were "faked" for visitors There was the fake pulling down of Sadaam's statue, small crowd carefully screened There were fake WMD's, & biological weapons The FBI is investigating fake Republican campaign contributions in OH There was a fake terror alert in Warren County, OH in the 04 election There was the fake riot by men in suits to stop recount FL '00 There were fake Secret Service throwing out Dems at townhall mtg There were the fake allegations by Swift Boaters on Kerry war record There were the fake memos on GWB's war service, real ones disappeared There was the fake reporter/with fake name in WH press room 2 years There were the fake tax cuts where they were sucking our pension money from social security to run the country There were fake FBI agents at Abu Ghraib There were fake Bush supporters, GI's photoshopped make a crowd in 04 There was the fake 9-11 report more bush lies. dont know how many same George W. Bush says that he is a "Texan". In fact, he is the son, grandson, etc. of a Connecticut/New England family. He was born in Connecticut. He attended Philips Andover Academy, Yale and Harvard. George W. Bush is not a Texan. George W. Bush said that he had never been in trouble with the law. In fact, he was arrested and convicted of drunk driving, once that is publicly-known. For someone who is an admitted alcoholic, it is statistically unlikely that this was the one and only time he ever drove drunk, much less the only time he was caught. George W. Bush has been in trouble with the law – an arrest and conviction. George W. Bush said that he served his country as a pilot in the Texas Air National Guard. In fact, he deserted, failing to show up for regular duty for over one year, and losing his flight privileges after missing repeated medical exams. George W. Bush did not serve his country as a pilot in the Texas Air National Guard. George W. Bush says that he was a successful oilman. In fact, every oil venture that he was ever involved with failed miserably (and yet he still managed not to lose any of his own money). George W. Bush was not a successful oilman. George W. Bush says that he was "the owner" of the Texas Ranger baseball franchise. In fact, he was loaned the money to buy the minority share of a group purchase of the team, and was placed in the front office due to his father's name. He made millions on that "loan" (never repaid) when the team was sold - even though he never invested any personal money. His only "act" as "owner" that can be documented is giving up the homerun star Sammy Sosa. George W. Bush was not the owner of the Texas Rangers. George W. Bush says that he was successful in politics way before he ran for Governor of Texas. In fact, he lost a Congressional race, AND he helped his father lose his re-election bid in 1992. George W. Bush was not successful in politics before he ran for Governor of Texas. George W. Bush says that he was a strong full-time governor of one of the largest states in the Union, overseeing a large bureaucracy, and that this qualified him to be President. In fact, Texas has the weakest governor in the fifty states. The Governor of Texas has the power to appoint and remove only about 190 people who work directly for him or her. The Texas Governor cannot even select the officers of her or his own cabinet. Every important decision-maker in Texas is elected by the people and is responsible to a constituency other than the sitting governor. The lieutenant governor, elected by the people, runs the Texas State Senate and oversees the committee that prepares the state budget. The Governor may appoint members to about 200 boards, but terms are staggered, and the Governor may not fire her or his predecessor's appointments. The Texas Governor exercises less influence over the state budgetary process than any other Governor in the Union. The Texas legislature only meets for a few weeks every other year. George W. Bush was not a strong full-time Governor. George W. Bush said while running for re-election in Texas that he would serve the full term. In fact, he ran for President during his second term; when he was awarded the Presidency by the Supreme Court, he left his job as Governor midway through the term. George W. Bush did not keep his promise to fulfill his term as Governor. George W. Bush said that the reason he hid on 9/11 - unlike leaders such as Rudy Giuliani, risking their lives for their people - was that terrorists had targeted Air Force One. In fact, this was not only shown to be untrue, it was finally admitted by his Administration. George W. Bush cowardly hid and ran on 9/11 while Americans were dying and afraid and in need of real leadership. George W. Bush said that Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda were working together, and that the relationship constituted a threat to US National Security. In fact, not only has no link ever been established between the two men, strong evidence indicates the exact opposite – that they would never work together. George W. Bush was not correct when he claimed a link between Saddam and Al Qaeda. George W. Bush said Saddam Hussein was developing nuclear weapons that could be used against Americans. In fact, no evidence of nuclear weapons has been found in Iraq; strong evidence indicates that the nuclear weapons program was successfully shut down after the first Gulf War. George W. Bush was not correct when he claimed Saddam had nuclear weapons. George W. Bush said Saddam Hussein had chemical and biological weapons that could not only harm Americans, but that would absolutely be used against American forces in an invasion of Iraq. In fact, no evidence of chemical or biological weapons has been found in Iraq; strong evidence indicates that these weapons were successfully destroyed after the first Gulf War. George W. Bush was not correct when he claimed Saddam had chemical and biological weapons, and that they would be used against Americans. George W. Bush said that trailers found in Iraq were proof of Saddam's mobile chemical weapons program. In fact, these trailers have been shown to have been mobile weather balloon-filling stations. George W. Bush was not correct when he claimed the trailers found in Iraq were proof of Saddam's chemical weapons program. George W. Bush said that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction ready and deployable against American citizens and American troops at a moment's notice. In fact, no weapons of mass destruction at all, whether deployable at a moment's, minute's, hour's, day's, month's or year's notice, have been found in Iraq; not even any evidence of such weapons have been found. George W. Bush was not correct when he claimed Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction ready and deployable at a moment's notice. What are we to make of this? George W. Bush has lied about every single major fact and event - and many minor ones - in his entire life. He continues to lie, causing the deaths of American service personnel, the destruction of at least two countries (and counting), neither of which attacked the United States, the worsening of our economy on a daily basis, the destruction of our environment on an unprecedented scale, and the loss of stature and confidence in the United States in every country in the world. THIS is the George W. Bush RECORD. THIS is the man you hold up to be your role model. THIS is the man that real Americans who care about this country - the entire country - and the world are going to kick out of the White House in less than fifteen months. azellyn Unregistered User (8/13/03 9:57 pm) Reply George Bush is not a Texas Ranch Hand -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He makes believe he's on vacation clearing the brush on the family farmstead that's been part of their history for years. In reality, he just bought the land that houses the mansion on which he lives and there is no "ranch", no horses, no cattle, no chickens. The wood chopping and pickup truck rides are pure photo ops to make the idiots who believe he's like them feel "connected." What a crock. ---------------------------------------------------- "President Bush is down on the ranch, and we all know what that means: lots of pictures of him in that pickup truck, as if he's going into town to pick up a bale of hay. Okay, we get it. You're a "rancher." You're clearing brush. You're a "Washington outsider." You're a huge country fan. Unfortunately, that country is Saudi Arabia." Of course, "All Hat - No Cattle" says it more succinctly. list of bush bads 1) DOWNING STREET MINUTES --A) “Spikes of Activity” --B) “…intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy…” 2) IRAQ (the lead up to the war) --A) Lies About WMD -----i. 16. Why split hairs? |
At this point, anyone still supporting that party with membership is guilty of aiding and abetting treason.
