US action on Iran likely in November

Feelings have strengthened here in recent days that the administration is getting itself set for decisive action against Iran in November this year, over the nuclear weapons issue.

When the UN starts its session by September, everything will be in place as far as the US is concerned, the source said.

Both China and Russia have not been in favour of any UN action against Iran. "But there will be another round of discussions in this respect, and the US will work in this direction during the summer period", the source said.

"It may be a bombardment, or some other form of military strike, or it may even be some sort of sanctions, but strong action is coming against Iran," the source said.
