Prince Charles has "one up" on Georgie boy!
Link: http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/04/12/uk.harry/index.html
LONDON, England (CNN) -- Prince Harry, the third in line to the British throne, has graduated as an officer in the British army, a job that qualifies him for a possible combat role in Iraq or Afghanistan.

I don't believe for a second that Prince Harry will be put into a dangerous situation, but at least he's willing to go fight.

2. My kid's hamster has one up on Georgie-Boy
It hasn't started any illegal wars based upon lies and deception. Vote Hammy in 2008.

3. From what I've read and heard it's not likely
He and his unit has an equal chance of going as any other. It's quite a bit different over there than here. The british military isn't going to allow for special treatment of any kind. My understanding is that Prince Harry will be in charge of eleven men. Getting special treatment could undermine all of them.

Here in the states you've got daddy bush pulling strings so junior won't have to serve in that bad war.

In Britian you have an heir to the thrown and son of a beloved Princess Diana. No one is going to do a thing except allow him to do his duty. One point that was made, and it is an understandable fear, terrorists would love to get their hands on him. IMO, if he does go to Iraq or Afghanistan, he'll be protected in the way that very few will actually know who he is. Probably his men, his commanding officer, british intelligence will be the only ones who know exactly what he is doing and where.

And you are right...he's willing to fight. How many chickenhawks' kids would do the same?
