I mean, REALLY look at it.

We have Scott Ritter & Sy Hersch saying Bush is ready to nuke the nuclear sites. It's scary shit, but I want to make sure these fears are rational. I want to use this thread to go over what we know, what's being said & how credible these sources are.

Question 1: Did Hersch say Bush is ready to NUKE or BOMB the nuke sites?

Question 2: What is Hersch's track record?

Question 3: Ritter's already been wrong on the timeline (he said December, IIRC).

Question 4: What other sources are confirming these plans?


I'm sure there are more questions, but that'll get the ball rolling.

Let me be very clear: My GUT says this is right, but if I'm going to talk about it with anyone, I want my information to be rock solid. I hope the combined info from DU-ers will help with this, and give us a chance to re-evaluate the "known knowns" and the "known unknowns" of this crisis.
