Has * ever actually said anything indicating that he wants the End Times?

3. except
the fundamentalists are OPPOSED to "one world government" - that's why they hate the United Nations so much.

Bush became the head of the new American Dominionist Church/State," (http://www.yuricareport.com/Dominionism/TheDespoilingOfAmerica.htm) February 2004: "This article is the documented story of how a political religious movement called Dominionism gained control of the Republican Party, then took over Congress, then took over the White House, and now is sealing the conversion of America to a theocracy by taking over the American Judiciary. It’s the story of why and how 'the wrath of God Almighty' will be unleashed against the middle class, against the poor, and against the elderly and sick of this nation by George W. Bush and his army of Republican Dominionist 'rulers'."

12. The theory is that he misspelled eschatology
which is the branch of theology that is concerned with the end of the world or of humankind.

This was on a birthday card or something to Harriet Miers.

4. It's a great question that I have never heard directly asked
It seems appropriate in light of his perpetual references to God.

8. Wasn't he recently asked and just dodged it?
I remember seeing something about it recently on either the Daily Show or Bill Maher. I wish people WOULD ask him about it, directly and often, to lock him into an answer.

6. Iran
Oddly enough, President Ahmadinejad of Iran thinks that he is the person described in the Koran as leading the Muslims into the last great war to take place prior to the 2nd coming of Mohammed. Who knows what will happen if these 2 kooks cross paths.

7. Gee, this morning the very same question came into my head.
I had to really stop and think whether he was playing politics or if this was all part of a much bigger "end of days" senario for him.

10. Or how about this from Dubyaspeak.com?
Q: Do you believe this, that the war in Iraq and the rise of terrorism are signs of the apocalypse? And if not, why not?
DUBYA: Hmmm, uhh, hah -- ummm -- I, the answer is -- I haven't really thought of it that way, heh, heh. Heh. Here's how I think of it. Ummm -- heh heh. First I've heard of that, by the way, I, ah -- uhh -- the, uhh -- I, I guess I'm more of a practical fella. Uhh. I vowed after September the 11th that I would do everything I could to protect the American people. And, uhh -- my attitude, of course, was affected by the attacks. I knew we were at a war. I knew that the enemy, obviously, had to be sophisticated, and lethal, to fly hijacked airplanes, uhh, into -- facilities that would, we would, killing thousands of people, innocent people, doin' nothing, just sittin' there goin' to work.

-- The White House transcript is considerably more generous in its accounting of this exchange, which is peppered with false starts, snickers, and umms. I reckon this wasn't the sort of question he was expecting, since he never actually answered it, even after the 73 seconds that expired here. Cleveland, Ohio, Mar. 20, 2006

13. I kinda think the "Good Christian Man" is just another Mask/Persona
made up by Karl and Karen to get votes, like "rancher" or "texan" or "average Joe."

The answer you quote sorta proves it to me. . .
