http://www.democraticunderground.com/cgi-bin/duforum/duboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=3900&forum=DCForumID71#TOP

Complete with photos of links of the trailers (post 61), snips from articles previously published about how Iraq had declared them to the UN (post 54), and derision.

Did I mention the derision? God, you guys are adorable :loveya:

"Look at the trailer find this way:
Two less homeless Freepers."

11. What's most disturbing about this is...
LAST EDITED ON May-30-03 AT 11:34 PM (ET)
... that neither of the trailers, after considerable testing, shows _any_ evidence that they were used for the purpose described. There is absolutely no residue of biological weapons anywhere.

Further, pictures of one I've seen had canvas sides--totally unsuitable for growing biological weapons. Fungi and mold would have easy access to any process.

Next, one of these trailers is reported to have come from Great Britain. Why would they be supplying Iraq the means to make biological weapons?

Last, one source (sorry, can't find link) says that tags on the equipment of one of the trucks read "Made in Iraq." In English. There's no requirement for that unless the object were destined for import to the US.

I hope this is in all the European papers before he leaves town.

2. It was well evident that the trailers were not what was said WELL BEFORE
Bush made his statements.

Scottie's defense today was pathetic. Even IF Bush didn't know about the intelligence report, he had NO business saying what he said. We knew he was lying at the time.

These people, Scottie included, LIE all the time. They have no ethics.

Thanks for the archive, Rose.

3. I heard there was a can of Raid in one of the trailers and they
thought that was good enough to destroy a country over.

5. It Was Eerie Reading Andy Stephenson's Comments. God Bless Him
And god bless all the members of DU who have been here for so long and have done so many things to bring out the truth, which is then even available years later via search function for those not fortunate enough to have found this place sooner.

19. Nah, They Jumped Right Out At Me Actually.
I've been lurking here since November of 04 and used to love Andy's threads on election fraud. I first became aware of him when the Bev shit exploded, and I remember he came under his real name, but many posters referenced him by his old handle. There were also many posts afterwards that copied old threads of his under that name :)

"And for you all to go on the air this morning and make such a charge is irresponsible," McClellan told reporters.

So if you lie to cover a lie is that still lying?

(Algebra - x - = + - x + = + or - x - x - = +)

These guys are so fucking busted. WMD info from Iraq was fast tracked to Cheney, Rummy, and Wolfowitz.

14. LOL -McC demands an apology, even though...
snip>
When McClellan was asked when the White House became aware of the Pentagon field report, however, McClellan couldn’t say. He told the press corps “I’m looking into that matter” but the answer was “not the point.”

http://thinkprogress.org/2006/04/12/mcclellan-demands-apologize/

Facts are not the point, see? So yes: + is the only acceptable answer to the equasion.

68. About those trailers

The captured Iraqi officials claim that the trailers are for hydrogen production for artillery spotting balloons.
CIA analysts have confirmed that the design is consistent for this application, although "inefficient".
Also, if these trailers were used as part of a bio-weapons lab, they would have to be accompanied by other trailers containing equipment to grow bio-agents.

16. Here's this:
http://www.cia.gov/cia/reports/iraqi_mobile_plants/index.html#07

I backed out to here: http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/; then clicked on the "complete list" link at the bottom and searched that page for "mobile". I have no idea if this is the original, or if it's been scrubbed, but the hydrogen story is in there. I haven't finished it yet.

18. Did I ever tell you that you are my Fav?
LOL .... From somebody who did a little time in micro labs the CIA stuff is priceless.

You need a "clean environment" to do any work. A canvass tarp on a truck driving round
the desert ..... not so much. I am going to post your link for it's own thread .....

bush is sooooo fucking busted!

This is it, folks. Now we will see just how far...

The American people, the press and our elected officials are willing to continue the charade.

Just shy of three years on, and I think we have our answer, no?
