7. No, but it did have all of America burying their heads in the Sand...
...and now an evil, South Park version of Bart Simpson.

15. no, family guy is not lame
but someone at comedy central smartly knew that if south park tried to torpedo another popular cartoon, there would be a bigger surge of viewers that wouldn't normally watch (i.e., die-hard fans of the other show)

17. Maybe, but on my second viewing I realized that it was more aimed at...
...the Viacom management or whoever it was at Comedy Central who caved into pressure and agreed to pull the Scientology episode repeat. Kile kept saying that, If you agree to pull one episode that someone finds offensive, it snowballs, and eventually, it kills the show.

BTW: The Scientology episode was the 2nd episode that this happened, they also caved into pressure from the Catholic Church and agreed not to replay the "Bloody Mary" episode too.

At one point, he said the name Doug, anyone know who Doug is?

18. sorry but in my opinion "Family Guy" IS lame.
and rarely funny.

South Park and The Simpsons remain at genius level, however.

19. Family Guy Throws In Stuff A Younger Audience Wouldn't Get
Edited on Thu Apr-13-06 12:36 AM by otohara
I watched FG on Adult Swim tonight - Peter goes to Washington DC to lobby for cigarettes, the bosses pick Peter because he's an idiot and they label him "That Guy" and he breaks out in this song and dance routine. It's from an old TV show called "That Girl" which ran from 1966 - 1971.

My 18 yr old is a FG fan, he doesn't have a clue what that bit was about. As where I could relate and thought it was a funny bit.

I'm surprised FG puts this stuff in a lot, considering 50+ somethings aren't the demo they are reaching out to.
