Damn gas prices! Everytime I get gas I make it a point

to say something to whoever is next to me about these damn gas prices. I have a running tally in my head on how PISSED OFF people are about this (me being the first).

One lady I talked to in her who was filling up her *Lincoln Navigator*, especially caught my attention. As she pumped her gas, I noticed her shaking her head and so I ever so casually said, "wow, did gas prices go up again?" I knew when I saw her roll her head around to speak it was gonna be *sweet* and sure enough, the words that rolled out definitely did surprise me considering the "elite" image she portrayed.

Her voice was shaking with anger when she said, "we have to change our government. Enough with this crap."

I told her I guess our President doesn't seem to care about anyone but his oil buddies.

Guess that bill is starting to add up for that Navigator.

1. At least she was thinking. As for the navigator, people bought them

and now they can't give them away. I'm looking for a car and the lots are filled with SUVs. So maybe this lady was not driving it by choice.

2. I've had my Harley for sale for bargain basement prices

For months. Can't sell it. I remember a few years ago there were waiting lists for over a year to get a new one. I guess the economy's not doing so hot after all.

But, I'm glad nobody bought it. It's paid for and gets 50mpg!

3. I sort of do the same thing only far less mature

I just say out loud "FUCK YOU CHENEY AND YOUR CRIMINAL GANG!!" after pumping up my new civic which even at around 35 mpg it hits me. Am I glad I can handle using the bus for my transportation to work every week!

Believe me, I say it as I'm driving off too. It makes my blood boil everytime I have to get gas. Thank goodness my job is in walking distance.

5. I fill up frequently,

since I travel for work. I have a black sharpie in my car, and every time I fill up I write on the pump "Thanks Bush, you bastard" with an arrow pointing at the price per gallon. I used to make sure no one saw me, but lately, I do it even when other people are filling up. No one has objected, and most start laughing. I hope they go buy markers and start writing on the gas pumps too.

Bush sucks.

8. I love listening to people complain about gas prices.

9. I like reminding people that a few years back republicans were screaming

when gas got 1.29 a gallon. They said Clinton has no energy plan, Clinton closed down refineries, blah, blah, blah.

Then when President Chuckle-Nuts Bush got in they were saying watch the price of gas drop now, we have a Texas Oil President...
