I am convinced that if they died and went to hell, they'd think it was a warm day in heaven. They thrive on pain and misery.

1. It's the fucking apocalypse for them...
bush is batshit insane and think's he's on a damn mission from gawd.

He wants to bring about the fucking end times.

Shit, I wish the rapture would just happen now and get these maniacs out of here.

2. Do you really believe* or
any of the corporate Republicans hold any religious beliefs, insane or otherwise? They're using the fundies.

3. Seymore Hersh did an article about this
One of his sources inside is quoted as saying that bush has a 'messianic vision'.

Speaking of President Bush, the House member said, “The most worrisome thing is that this guy has a messianic vision.”

That's not to say all of them are like that, but I've believed for a long time that bush is insane. Yeah, they're using the fundies, but bush is also a big believer in the end times in more ways than one.

5. seems to me that most of our "leaders" -- of both parties -- . . .
have forgotten what they were elected to do, i.e. represent the people . . . instead they now represent corporations and other special interests in a symbiotic relationship that exchanges the money they need to remain in office for unfettered access and full cooperation in their agendas . . .

we, the people, are an afterthought -- except at election time, when we pretty much become unfortunate necessities (i.e. they need our votes) . . .

of course, they're in the process of making THAT little annoyance go away by installing THEIR voting machines in every precinct "from California to the New York Island" . . .

you can probably count the elected federal officials who are NOT in the pockets of some entity with huge pockets on your fingers and toes . . .

and you might not need the toes . . .
