They'll argue a lot, and wave their arms, but take to the streets? Hell no. Worst case scenario, the government will dissolve, and they'll hold yet another election...and Sylvio will make SURE it goes his way the next time.

I'm betting Sylvio will take this all the way to the Supreme Court. Of course, now that they are finding that some ballots have been discarded after counting, it seems impossible to have a full recount.

Sylvio was counting on the expat vote, and that didn't come through for him. Had it so done, he might have hung on. I don't see him going gently, in any event. He's going to keep griping until there's no other avenue available to him.

4. Yep, it's a great culture!!!
Good food, good people, plenty of drama, great weather. Some of the happiest years of my life were spent on the boot!
