Limbaugh just made one of the most laughable comments ever !
He said Clinton was to blame for 9/11 and Bush was only in office for 6 or uh...8 months and he didn't even have his Cabinet appointed because of the disputed election and Ashcroft appointment was still being debated and the Republicans always have to clean up the Democrats' mess ! Unbelievable!

1. He's right Clinton is to blame for Iraq as well!
If clinton hadn't allowed the EVIL Iraqi Dictator to build up a guerilla force during his BJ presidency, * would have been a conquering hero on par with Tamerlane!

5. Did Clinton blame Bush I for the bombing in1993?
After all, he had been in office only 3 months.

Oh yeah, Clinton not only didn't blame Bush, but he found, prosecuted and convicted the guys who did it.

13. Try 1 month.
Clinton sworn in January 1993, WTC bombing February 1993.

Yet they blame Clinton for that without hesitation. Yeah, if you're looking consistency on the right wing, GOOD LUCK.

24. Did Clinton blame Bush for Waco?
considering that the ATF raids had been planned when Poppy was Preznit, it would've been pretty easy to pass the buck when things went up in flames.

Fitzgerald became the prosecutor in the case against Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and 11 others charged in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

his ranch, and MADE him spend so much time playing video games and taking naps, too.

There's NOTHING that those assholes won't find a way to blame on Clinton.

17. Odd.... Ashcroft was able to re-task agents from anti-terrorism units...
to prostitute clean-up in New Orleans before 9/11! I guess his hands weren't bound too tightly. :eyes: And Ashcroft refused to fly commercial aircraft for months before 9/11......almost as if he KNEW something was going to happen! :wow: Imagine that!

it is the Big Dog's Fault what isn't? Inspite of the fact that the Clinton staff warned the Bush Administration that the single most important priority is counter-terrorism and specifically bin Laden.

there would not have been a terrorist attack because those men did not need a terrorist attack. And somewhere in his deep dark ugly soul limbaugh knows thats true.

11. I never laugh at anything Limbaugh says...
... too scary, but I did laugh at his exposure as a drug addict. I ALWAYS laugh at Al Franken's impressions of Limbaugh, though. In reality (not Limb's specialty), Clinton had policies in place that were catching terrorists before they could attack, but since those attacks never happened, they're not important.

I know I shouldn't be flippant about this, but jokes were actually made that the key FBIHQ personnel had to be spies or moles, like Robert Hansen, who were actually working for Osama Bin Laden to have so undercut Minneapolis' effort.

Presidential Daily Briefing "Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in US."
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4710772

The Federal Aviation Administration received repeated warnings in the months prior to Sept. 11, 2001, about al-Qaida and its desire to attack airlines, according to a previously undisclosed report by the commission that investigated the terror attacks. The report by the Sept. 11 commission detailed 52 such warnings given to FAA leaders from April to Sept. 10, 2001, about the radical Islamic terrorist group and its leader, Osama bin Laden.

Able Danger.
In the first open hearing about the existence of an intelligence cell that may have identified the ringleaders of the Sept. 11 attacks a year before they happened, lawmakers sat back and let Rep. Curt Weldon (R-Pa.) run the show.
<snip>
"How can we trivialize what these people have said?" Weldon asked Cambone. "It's about just giving the story. I am not a conspiracy theorist."

"I do not understand - it is frustrating to me," he added. "I am not going to stop here. President Nixon had to resign over a third-rate burglary," while 3,000 people died in the Sept. 11 attacks.

"Maybe neither administration wants to know what happened," Weldon said. "Maybe I am offending everyone."

International warnings.
August 2001: Russia Warns US of Suicide Pilots
Russian President Vladimir Putin warns the US that suicide pilots are training for attacks on US targets. The head of Russian intelligence also later states, “We had clearly warned them” on several occasions, but they “did not pay the necessary attention.” A Russian newspaper on September 12, 2001, will claim, “Russian Intelligence agents know the organizers and executors of these terrorist attacks. More than that, Moscow warned Washington about preparation to these actions a couple of weeks before they happened.” Interestingly, the article will claim that at least two of the militants were Muslim radicals from Uzbekistan.

20. Wasn't the warning of Al Queda being the biggest threat to the US...
one of Clinton's major parting revelations to the Bush Administration?

So if the administration was not settled in then why was Rummy standing in front of Congress on September 10th, 2001 stumping for an increased budget for strategic missile defense system after the decision was made straight from the white house to ignore Clinton/Clark warnings and that a missile attack from North Korea was the biggest threat to the US?

Pure propaganda.

21. Sounds like my 14-year-old's "blame game"
We are having issues with my 14-year-old not doing her homework. We have gone through excuse after excuse after excuse. This morning I told her that I was sick and tired of the "blame game." Ultimately, we each are responsible for ourselves and our actions or inactions.

I'm beginning to think that if George W's Mamma had instilled within him a sense of personal responsibility (you know, that big conservative talking point), our nation wouldn't be in such a huge mess right now.

If I ignore reports from my child's doctor and my child ends up being sick or getting injured, I cannot turn around and blame the doctor.

If my husband and I spend several evenings discussing our family's fire exit plan, but fail to adequately prepare our children and they suffer injury in a fire, we cannot then claim that we could have never imagined our home ablaze.

In short, any parent worth his/her salt should be able to look at the blame game being played by the so-called leaders of our nation and see the overgrown juvenile brats for the losers they truly are. It's time to send a few adults to Washington.

22. He must have been saying this for a while
I was having a discussion with a bush* lover a couple of weeks ago and when the topic of Sept 11 came up, she said "Bill Clinton should have done something about it" I replied "Well what was he suppose to do, he wasn't the President anymore" And her response was he (Clinton) should have done something to prevent it.
These people who blindly follow bush* and listen to Rush will say ANYTHING, no matter how ridiculous, to justify bush* and all his failures. It makes me sick. When she started talking about Al Gore saying he invented the internet, I told her she was brainwashed. I think I insulted her, but at that point I couldn't stand to be in her presence, and I left.
