4. I assume you mean Mr. Matthews.
He continued to provide the best reporting on the Plame scandal available in the corporate media. David Schuster's report was absolutely on target. As I have said of Mr. Matthews numerous times: He knows. And Mr. Schuster does, too.

Matthews said that the Plame scandal is going to do significantly more damage to the President. He also placed focus on the role of the Vice President.

There was also a little cheesey "fill," allowing another journalist a few too many minutes to peddle a sad book. But the show was strong as far as the Plame information. The guests recognize that, despite Libby's feelings for Cheney, the lawyers are not going to honor any relationships or loyalties that Scooter used to have. They were focused on the problems that Rove and Fleischer present for Bush.

7. Thank you man! I've been busy listening to Randi Rhodes
today. She is at her best today and was certainly on fire. She has John Dean on right now and he's giving valuable insights into the administration.

Can't handle Chris Matthews.

8. David Schuster has proved himself to be a reputable journalist...
such a breath of fresh air, yes?

Peace.

12. Schuster is good.
He knows what lies ahead. You can see a little grin tugging on the sides of his face some nights.

14. Yep.
Did you know that he originally worked for Faux News and quit because it wasn't "his brand" of journalism. Pretty smart dude, eh?

Peace.

11. Matthews knows the details.
It was actually amazing. The talking heads have ignored this for so long. I haven't watched television news in weeks, and what I saw tonight was unusual.

16. Water Man, it was uncanny...
The Tweetster sounded almost like you! Granted, he doesn't know the details that you do, but he clearly seems on the right track.

That doesn't excuse Tweety or any of the media for their behavior earlier, but...better late than never, as they say.

6. Tweety did his "James Bond" thing...said why can't Israel sent teams
into Iran like that movie "Entebbe" and take out these nuke sites.

:eyes: The best thing about the show was when he grilled Biden on how the Dems would react if we woke up and found that Bush had "taken out Iran Targets." Biden showed his "pearly whites" and hemmmed and hawed and did a Hhrump...and said.."well Chris I think he'd have to answer for something on this...yadda...yadda...yadda."

I'll give it to that idiot Tweety that he pressured Biden asking him what "Norma Democrats" why they haven't "really challenged the P-Resident on Iraq and neighter has Hillar Clinton questioned him." (loose quote but the jist of it to my ear).

9. I don't mind him asking tough questions to Democrats, I just wish he
would do the same to Republicans. Can you imagine him grilling John McCain?

10. I wish he
would just level with his audience about what he knows has happened in the Plame case. I understand that he has restrictions placed on him from his employment. But he has resources that he could use here.

This isn't an ordinary time, with an ordinary scandal. This is, in my opinion, more serious that either Watergate or Iran-Contra. I say that intending that the Plame be viewed as closely related to the neocon/AIPAC spy scandal. Chris has Patrick Buchanan on often enough that he knows darned well they two are the same thing.

Tip would tell Chris to have the courage of his convictions now.

15. There is also the old....
"ongoing investigation" thing. Shrub & Co use it as cover, of course, but Tweety might be closer to the fire than we know, and might be under a restraint order not to reveal anything.

18. The "ongoing investigation" thing is not only a cover.
It is likely that * and Dick will themselves be investigated. They CAN'T talk about it.
