Bush ... a man of action? That isn't always good

The Bushites like to say: "Well, at least Bush takes ACTION! That's always better than doing nothing!" That is one of the arguments I have heard in favor of Bush's foreign policy, his immigration plan, and just about every other bad idea he has had.

But think about it:

If you are getting kicked in the head, and you have the chance to either keep getting kicked in the head as always, or "take action" by recruiting a second kicker ... what would make more sense?

It would, of course, be better to pass on that "plan" and concentrate on getting rid of kicker #1, even if that took longer.

That is what Bushites don't seem to get. They seem to favor any kind of quick "bold action" by Bush, even if the plan is really, really bad. They have no patience for GOOD policies that might actually work, given time.

We need to somehow make it clear to voters that Democrats favor SOLVING PROBLEMS over merely "taking action" of any kind, no matter what.

Taking action does not mean that you are doing the right thing, that's for damn sure. I am so sick of hearing "Bush takes action and sticks with his decisions".

So if someone is doing something foolish but decides to stick with it, the freepers admire this trait in a person??
