So I'm convinced. CNN's Candy Crowley just informed me that
Americans don't care what retired generals say about Donald Rumsfeld.
The world sighs a breath of relief because of her comments.:eyes:

3. Well, I am an American
and I care very deeply when 4 or 5 or 6 ex-Generals come out and say this administration is incompetent.

Bush will not get rid of Rumsfeld, which is bad for our nation, but good for Democrats. Make the best of it, right???

10. Ms. Crowley doesn't have the qualifications to consider what Americans
think. .. this is the oldest wingnut ploy in the book - to CLAIM to know what Americans think and want without really knowing squat. Someone should tell Ms. Candy that she is just feeding the backlash and her whoring will be remembered.

How about Americans not caring about whether Candy Crowley thinks they care what retired generals think? What a tool that woman is!

6. CNN also pulled the exit polling data @ 1:00 AM on 11/3/04
.... and then replaced it with blended data. Candy Crowley is just a bit
player in the farce that the 24/7 news media has become.

11. This is precisely the kind of crap that has to go.
There's no excuse for this. It isn't journalism, and it isn't reporting. It's just bias and opinion.

In formal logic, it's considered fallacious and even has a name: the bandwagon appeal.

Speculation and navel gazing have no place in news. How did it get this bad?

20. You're right! It isn't journalism, and it isn't reporting.......
It's PROPAGANDA!

Commercial airtime bought and paid for by the RNC.....

Or, maybe it's commercial airtime extorted by the * mis-administration!

I want all of these treasonous, rat bastards and bastardettes to be held accountable for what they have done to my country. They are guilty of perpetuating the lies that are destroying our democracy. Screw them.

channel, I think it was MSNBC, a talking head said the American people don't care about the Libby/Plame case.
I guess they think if they repeat these things often enough it will make it true.
