2. It's probably Shrubyah's own house... |
|
...that his daddy had built just for him. Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't relocated from the estate of one of the family mansions.

4. Midland Texas is one of the richest towns in America. |
|
That's what Molly Ivins says about the place * moved to after graduating from an elitist college in the northeast.
The bushes are fricken rich! Always have been. Always will be until someone throws their tails in jail and justice gets served.

6. I read the original propaganda piece |
|
It mentioned his "blueblood background" without actually naming his father Prescott Buxh. It said he moved there from Connecticut to oversee a new oil venture. (He didn't buy in with "Bars" good looks either)
It said they only lived there for a couple years until they moved into their new place. I suspect that's how long it took to build the new palace.
They try to look sooo humble, but I think I'd like to see HWs birthplace too.

8. Actually, born in Conn, but raised in Texas |
|
I'm reading Fortunate Son right now. HW and Barbara moved to Texas shortly after the evil little bundle was born.

9. They put the last nail in that "ranch house" the day before the 2000 |
|
election. I don't even think the paint was dry. It is a movie set. And the town of Crawford didn't exist until the ranch was built.
