Hmmmm.. family values in action..

CNN's doing a slobbery wet kiss tribute to "The Grahams"..

Isn;t it comforting to know that all is well in the world, and this is all that's important for us to know.?? :puke:

I am so sick of public religion these days.. It's utterly inescapable..

1. What, did old man Billy die
Or is just more BS from CNN?

Just another reason why I don't watch MSM, especially TV news. Too much :puke:

10. Nope.. just a rehash from an interview in April 2005
Maybe because it's Easter.. we have to have our dose of religion scratched into our worthless souls like tattoos.. and who better to do it than Kyra Phillips & a Graham daughter?

3. You are right...I find it interesting they don't want gays to be
themselves and say they are gay....but it's okay for these religious zeolots to parade their religion in every one's face....and try to shove it down the publics throats..

I am not anti-religon I am anti NeoCon religious zeolots...And I am sick of it too...

9. What? No whips? Belts? Paddles? Switches? Raincoats?
Rev. Dr. Dobson recommends a long, ritualistic, terrifying, physically painful "spankin'". With a raincoat, if necessary!

What was the matter with Billy? He shoulda done put that woman cross'n his knee and paddled some Bible-based Common Sense™ into her bee-hind -- and then given Franklin a good old-fasioned bare-ass belt whuppin'!

A car trunk is the modern equivalent of a closet. And the closet is for prayer. And pedophilia.

11. Actually, 'Dr.' Dobson is not a reverend!
He never was ordained. And I don't even know if he is still licensed as a psychologist - either in California or in Colorado! But that doesn't stop him from doling out advice!

13. CNN is worthless.
"Hi, Fred, how are you today? Good to see you!"
"Hey, Kyra, doing fine."

The directed camaraderie certainly makes us feel all warm and gooey inside. They do a great job of telling us how everyone feels about issues that have been sanitized by the wise corporation, and not giving us background information that might confuse us. I think I'll leave it on all day as comfortable background, because I don't really have to pay attention, and because most of the time is taken by feel-good commercials anyway.

I was a teen when Cronkite retired, but I miss him.

No telling what else occurred in that "perfect" household.

18. before or after he was an adult? from some of the things
i have heard about these guys, recently would have been appropriate. I cannot stand it when son follows father in the 'business' of the church. I heard years ago that the father was suffering with alzheimer's and yet the news seems to have it that he is still out there giving us advice on big issues. Sounds like the son is using him as a front to keep the money flowing. shameful.

Franklin Graham is a screwball plain & simple, and everyone would agree with me.

Far, far away from the New Testament model his family is supposed to believe in. They seem to be shrewder capitalists and not such terrific Christians.

21. Happened to me once.
My half-brother shut me in a trunk I was cleaning out for my stepmom (she'd broken a bag of peat moss in there, and I was the smallest and least busy at the motorcycle race that day, so it was my job to clean it out, regardless of my allergies and all.

All I have to say is that it took everything in me not to freak out with the dust and the fact that I was pinned in on all fours. It took awhile for my stepmom to figure out what had happened, and my brother was in trouble after that.
