11. I was a lurker when Khephra passed away, and the reaction here

was one of the things that finally made me sign up.

I suspect that I'm not the only one who could say that.

In that way, he's responsible for a new horde of DUers, and thus for a part of the great big energy that is BRINGING the house down. And in that way, he's still here, and always will be.

I'm sure he can see it, and I'm sure he's having something slightly less immoral than schadenfreude over the gymnastics of those cornered now : )

I'm already weepy, as my best friend's mom passed away the other day. It's so weird to have emotional connections to people that you will never meet in real life-- Khephra was one of those people. I still miss him and nostamj... RIP friends.

I think him of him often too. He was the reason I started relying on DU for the most updated news. I remember how I, and many others I think, used to be of the impression, that Khephra was a woman. I also want you to know, Ophi, that you are the reason I registered so I could post. I just loved your "come we go..."endings. They were so calming. I have been trying not to get my hopes up, but, no matter what comes of this particular blip in our nation's history...Skinner and the other founders were absolute geniuses to have started DU. If nothing else they helped save my sanity.
