New code words for "outsourcing"

Businesses (and now government agencies) are getting very savvy about the public's outrage over outsourcing services to foreign countries. You might see less and less about it in the news because the language about it has changed.

Just by way of example, read this paragraph describing a conference-- which was in large part about outsourcing call centers for public utilities--and see if you come away with an understanding of what he's talking about:

Other code words are "transformation," "service movement," "relocation," "service transmigration," "aging work force solutions" and "packaged customer service solutions."

The outsourcing consultants have brought outsourcing euphemisms to a high art. Check out, for example, "The Federal Environment for Transformation," which, reading between the lines, appears to be all about how governmental offices should consider outsourcing:
