What I don't get about the "Choose Life" Anti-Choice Plates...
Why is it that they say these are pro-life (no-choice) plates when they use the word "Choose" in them? I mean I am pro "Choose Life" too. I think that "Choosing Life" is the right CHOICE, but that doesn't mean that I support NO-CHOICE... EITHER THE HOTEL ROOM OR THE SHAME...

1. People like that simply need to have it explained to them that they're pro
choice.

2. Interesting point!
Unless they mean, "Choose life...by voting for anti choice people who will work hard to take everyone's choices away."

4. It just makes me think of "trainspotting"
"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars,cd players, and electrical tin openers...choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning.Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing,spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food in your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrasment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself.Choose your future.Choose life..But why would i want to do a thing like that?"

One of my favorite movies.

of truly loving. I always like the bumper stickers about thanking your mother for having you. That one is definitely a joke if you're older than 33.

9. If The Plates Say Choose Life Then Aren't They Advocating Choice?
Doesn't sound like they are saying ban abortion, it sounds instead like they are aware that women have a choice but are appealing to them to make the choice they believe is the right one, which is life.

Probably a more positive message then a plate saying choose abortion ya know? LOL (If the plate said 'ban abortion', then I'd understand. But they are explicitly implying that there is the freedom of choice. Nothin wrong with that then)

10. Unless we're mind readers, we don't know their stance on the law.
Lots of people who are pro-choice still would rather there was a need for fewer abortions. So maybe at least some of the license plate people are in this middle of the road group.
