2. My Governor, Rod Blagojevich, has gained some ground.
He was in the 30's approval at one point.

18. I was disappointed to see that he's losing the race to the bottom.
He was doing such a good job, too.

I think his lack of visibility lately might be improving his standing a bit. Out of sight, out of mind.

4. I see my governor is still a shining gem in the GOP crown
Bob Taft of Ohio at 18%
Who the hell are those 18%? Can his extended family posible be that large?

If Taft doesn't end a decades long tradition in this state...I'll never figure it out.
He makes James A Rhodes look like an Eagle Scout.

6. Mitt 'Plastic Ken Doll Look-a-like' Romney

He is at 48% approval. 46% disapproval.

He is a GOP whore, and he is tongue licking the azz of every Republican in power to get the V.P. nod. (He will try for President, and who knows?)

I HATE Romney.

He is the EPITOME of the sleazy politician who cares only about his own power.

He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO gross.

I am so ashamed of my state for voting for him!

10. I'm telling you, they should have let Rowland stay
Now Rell is one of the most popular governors in the country and is on her way to winning a full term without difficulty.

12. The media loves her
so, they have glossed over the "minor" ethical lapses she's had since taking office - she seems to be like that plainspoken aunt or grandmother that everybody has and it comes across well, I'll admit.

I was hoping Dodd or Lieberman would run... then, we could use the DeLay precendent to redistrict Simmons and Johnson out of existence.

8. Jennifer Granholm is in deep trouble. She has been ill served by advisors
Edited on Fri Apr-14-06 05:19 PM by faygokid
I have tried to work with staff and advisors on issues that the Granholm administration could benefit from working with regarding not just substance, but those who we could team together about, but it has been futile. Hopeless. So we are likely to end up with the billionaire son of Amway, Dick DeVos, a radical (not conservative, radical) who will enact laws that make John Engler look like a piker. Oh well, I expect to move soon, and my home state, Michigan, the very finest state in the Union, will continue to be a place to visit for great vacations. But DeVos and Bush will be a horrid but powerful combination. Damn. It's not the Michigan I grew up in, with great and passionate leadership.

He should be so pleased!!!

Even with a lengthy hospitalization the sap is in the tank.

Maybe he should think twice about blatantly slamming gays.
