9. I choose both! If their
roles were reversed and rummy was head dummy and bush was the secretary of defense(harhar)they would be arrogantly playing the other one's role out.

6. Smirk, because apparently Rumsfailed has
tendered his resignation twice and Smirk did not accept. It was probably pro forma due to bad news du jour, but nonetheless Rumsfailed submitted it - probably knowing it would be denied.

This time it will be accepted (assuming it will be offered) IF a suitable Neocon is in place.

It is the policy and not the person - most likely a "change" will be no change ultimately.

10. The resignation story was theatrical posturing
Rummy could have just left but he didn't. He doesn't have to stick around. That makes him more arrogant. If Bush accepted Rummy's resignation that could be seen as arrogant. Rummy is the arrogant one in this situation because no employer can require an employee to stay.

Rummy has a poetic arrogance that Smirk could only smirk too. It's just different methods and different levels of arrogance.

It's the person who makes the policy.
