That Einstein Ret. Gen. Myers Said: "There will be no civil war in Iraq"!
I am relieved! Aren't you? He is a fucking killer and a war profiteer. He also went on to condemn the Generals for dissing rummy and defended his good friend. All on CNN Your propaganda network!

were something like "Don't worry boys, they couldn't hit anything this far....gack." (thump)

9. Why thank you, Old Crusoe
Most kind.

I think he must have been asleep during Battle Analysis 101 at the War College. He missed the truism that it's a sucker's game to predict the outcome of a war, because half the time you will be wrong. Or as we say at the NCO Academy, "War's a crap shoot."

12. Sounds to me like you know what you're talkin' about and I can think
of a certain Secretary of Defense who might benefit from your counsel.

14. I wouldn't want to be close enough to that idiot monster to
counsel him. No, I was just in the game for a few years and have read some history books. This isn't cosmology.

15. sarge43, I hear you. Thank you for your service and of course I
wouldn't wish it upon you to have to be near as tightly-wound a character as Rumsfeld.

We'd have to ask a good psychiatrist, but seems to me that when you combine a self-important megalomaniac with a persecution complex, you're bound to have trouble.

It does seem to me that the generals have the inside scoop on this guy, and I trust them way before I trust Dubya.

16. They do.
Rummy is on his way out. Any time boss man publicly has to defend your sorry ass, you're one more embarrassing headline from being handed your walking papers. And our present military situation is a smorgasbord of embarrassment. Bush et al have managed to do what Cornwallis, Bobby Lee and A. Hitler couldn't, cripple the US Army.

3. But Myers is no "dummy" and had a couple of likable characteristics?
He enjoys playing saxophone and is the proud owner of two old english sheepdogs.

Where could a man who owns such a "high maintenance" and lovable breed of dog could have gone wrong!?! ;)

5. General Myers further asserted that it was "rank speculation" to
think anybody would ever fire on Ft. Sumpter.

"Not gonna happen," the General told reporters. "Just another distortion by the liberal media."

7. Myers is a Star Wars expert
One of the greatest taxpayer scams of all time.

The cabal was going to use Star Wars as their method to steal billions but they are accomplishing that with Iraq.

8. MSNBC is playing the same tune
with Gen Tommy Myers who said, there is no civil war, however that does not mean there could not be.. He is side stepping questions with vague answers and is saying Donald Rumsfield listened to the suggestions of the Generals... Looks like Myers might be looking toward a political career.

"The Bush administration is seeking to appoint a lawyer with little immigration or customs experience to head the troubled law enforcement agency that handles those issues, prompting sharp criticism from some employee groups, immigration advocates and homeland security experts.
The push to appoint Julie Myers to head the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency...

As The Revolving Door Turns: Former Top U.S. General Cashes In With Defense Contractor
Less than 6 months ago Gen. Richard B. Myers retired as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest ranking military officer in the country. He’s quickly found alternative employment. From the Chicago Tribune’s The Swamp:

Northrop Grumman, one of the nation’s largest and best-known defense firms, announced Wednesday that Myers, an Air Force veteran and former fighter pilot, has joined its board of directors.

As one of 11 “non-employee” directors, Myers will earn $200,000 a year, according to a company spokesman. Half of that sum is paid to the company’s 12 directors in stock.

In exchange for his 200K, Myers will have to attend “eight scheduled board meetings this year, two of which are conducted by phone.

Billions of taxpayer dollars are wasted each year on unnecessary weapons systems. Meanwhile, the defense industry rewards top military brass for looking the other way.

21. and if they disobey, why Rummy will come in and
straighten them right on out! Why he might even resort to torture!
What a fool to say something like that. He is another "Powell" type general. Does the slimey work and weasels his way up the chain of command.
