So far, I haven't heard any pro-Busby ads (I live in San Diego).
It's amazing. Every other commercial is swift boating Busby.
Sickening. I sure hope she has the money to counter these
ads.

1. It didn't take them long, did it...
Which will make a victory by her that much sweeter.

2. Do you really think these ads are persuasive?
The Repukes are the last ones to figure out that people are sick of the fear-and-smear crap, and a backlash is building. . .

3. To the uninformed, yes, they are effective.
Plus I got a pamphlet in the mail today saying
Busby is taking money out of schools.

7. So how do we combat outright lies?
This is the same way the Repukes campaigned in 2004. . .and the uninformed...SOME of them, might still buy it, but I think the American people have seen what they voted for last time around. The friends I have, who are so Repuke that they contribute to the state party, have announced they aren't giving one cent this year and that the party needs a major FALL to cleanse themselves of the evangelical hordes.

4. I personally think these ads in the long-run are counterproductive BUT
they give the Repubs something to base their cyber victory on when the electronic voting machines churn out the inevitable fraudulent victory.

Everybody will say, "It must have been the negative ads that did it!" This happened with Max Cleland when Diebold gave Saxby Chambliss a victory he didn't earn.

5. Oh God, I hate to admit it, but you are probably right.

6. Same here they are swift boating two
local congressmen here, Charlie Wilson running for the 6th District
in Ohio and they have started them on Congressman Alan Mollohan from West Virginia. I have read that they are willing to spend $3 million or more whatever it takes to defeat Wilson. They will gain seat there from Ohio and I think Bob Ney will retain his seat for Ohio also.
