3. Precisely - now it's public, and they have no excuse...
They can't say shit like "we didn't want to use nukes, but we had no choice".

4. I would prefer a strategy that uses diplomacy rather than bombs.

IMO, the distraction is the use of nukes; the issue is the * regime declaring pre-emptive war on another sovereign country.

Are you one of those "you're anti-nuke so you must be pro war" people?

I didn't realize the production line turned out more than one of em.... sigh....

EDIT: I just wanted to pass along an informative video that was on topic for the news of the day. Is that so wrong?

6. Not at all.
I've done my tours in Viet Nam & am staunchly anti-war. I was just making an observation.

Is it OK if we skip the nukes and just bomb the shit out of them? As I said in my last post, I would prefer a diplomatic solution.

7. Me too but I still like them giving a logical military solution
without nucs.

8. I fail to see why a military solution is needed by this maladministration.
According to IAEA, Iran is 8~10 years from building a bomb. What's the rush?

Iran is part of the PNAC vision; not mine.

10. Au contaire
I am neither a troll nor do I see a need for military solution to an imagined "immediate" proiblem.

Title of the original thread: "MUST SEE - Union of Concerned Scientists on Nuking Iran!" Perhaps I'm reading more than the title of the thread, but the concern is about pre-emptively nuking Iran. I completely agree that nuking anyone is insane. It's also insane to attack countries for trumped up bullshit charges.

11. Just tell me who said, suggested, or implied....
... attacking "countries for trumped up bullshit charges", and there's no issue.

If no one said that, then you're just making shit up.
