Guess who the FBI's #1 most wanted terrorist is.
Edited on Sat Apr-15-06 09:37 PM by JohnnyRingo
Must be Osama right? Maybe Zarqawi ?
Nope ....It's this guy:

ISNILON TOTONI HAPILON
Aliases: Abu Musab, Sol, Abu Tuan, Esnilon, Salahuddin, The Deputy, Deputy Amir

DESCRIPTION
Date of Birth Used: March 18, 1966
Hair: Brown
Place of Birth: Bulana, Latawan, Basilan, Republic of the Philippines
Eyes: Brown
Height: 5'6"
Sex: Male
Weight: 120 pounds
Complexion: Light-skinned
Build: Slim
Citizenship: Philippine
Languages: Tausug, Tagalog, English, Yakan
Scars and Marks: Hapilon has facial birthmarks.
Remarks: Hapilon graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Engineering. Hapilon may travel to Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
http://www.fbi.gov/wanted.htm (scroll down to #1 terrorist)

Why don't we see this man's face on TV?
Why aren't The Philippines the "Central Front" For The War On Terror?
Why is he able to travel to Saudi Arabia?

I've never heard of his cel: the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG), though I thought I saw a jazz band by that name about 15 years ago at The Odean in Cleveland. Maybe that was Amu.
Anyway...they certainly prove threatening, well funded, and growing fast:
http://www.terrorismfiles.org/organisations/abu_sayyaf_group.html

Even though I'm sure he's a major threat to world freedom, with that $5mil bounty on his head, there must be a reason why we never hear of this major player.
I thought of just a few:

The FBI shuffles the list around to keep the agents on their toes
News anchors are still learning to pronounce the Arab names
He doesn't look "terror" enough without a towel on his head
He never met Donald Rumsfeld
Not enough oil in the Philippines

A pointless and deceptive assault on a sovereign nation sure sounds like terrorism to me.

9. Any dark applications you ascribe to Dick Cheney won't get any
challenge from me.

If anything, I think we're too easy on him on DU.

An absolute human scowl walking around the corridors of power.

12. You know what?
I don't think any of us out here has any idea of the depth of his depravity and deceptions and murderous aggression, all in the interests of - I'm serious - enriching his Halliburton fucking cronies.

You see his deferred compensation from that company for this past year? WHAT FUCKING SITTING VICE-PRESIDENT HAS THE UTTER GALL TO DO THAT?

It couldn't have been deferred for another three years?

How utterly, utterly, utterly craven and arrogant, and the COCKSUCKER GETS AWAY WITH IT!

OK, I just typed "cocksucker" in caps. I'm gonna be quiet now.

14. Yeah, you know, you don't want to call him a cocksucker because
that would imply that at the very least he is performing a useful service.

Dick Cheney never seems to do anything to serve others or work toward the greater good.

Yes I did see the fat wad of fascism collect his fat wad of cash. A dirty deal by a dirty rat.

On the plus side, Patrick Fitzgerald is not a fool and the notes he has on these boys I betcha are pretty thorough. You would know better than most of us, but it at least seems as if Cheney is under growing pressure to either resign, get indicted, or blow his brains out.

I'm flexible on which of the three comes to pass.

18. Isn't that odd?
This is all they got on him?

Usama Bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 7, 1998, bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. These attacks killed over 200 people. In addition, Bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world.

And this part:
"Should Be Considered Armed And Dangerous"

If I see Bin Laden at the DMV, I'll come back tomorrow

23. Indeed....that's my point
A small cell of 200-300 with up to 2000 new members last year.
they deal in hostages for multi-million dollar pay offs.
Striking the continental US would be a real feather in their sub-cultural hat.

But since Buxh and Fox News wants to own Iraq so bad, this is another major threat to this nation's security that has to be sidelined to a mere "wanted poster" down at the post office.

Apparently, they don't even want to talk about them.
I'm surprised you heard of them. I assume it was on the 'nets somewhere.

24. Actually, it's George W Bush and they've got him under surveillance.

Never Forget: George W. Bush willfully violated National Security to cover-up his willful launch of a war of aggression and illegal occupation of Iraq.
