says he was a USN pilot during peacetime - commissioned thru the ROTC from Princeton.

I was a Coast Guard Officer (boat driver and port security) - does that make me qualified to be Secretary of Homeland Security?

Served in the U.S. Navy (1954-57) as an aviator and flight instructor.

was over. He did everything he could to stay out during Korean(?)War and then joined the Navy. I think I heard this on Randi Rhodes.

Had we been at war he would have done what all chickhawks do in time of war -- say they have other interests at this time :evilgrin:
