Milwaukee disappointed.... |
|
All white jury finds three cops not guilty of beating a black man. The trial was skillfully manipulated by the defense and the jury deliberated and reached a verdict hours before Easter. Timing is everything.
The dozen off duty cops all said "they didn't see anything". The main witnesses were skillfully discredited by the defense.
the beating was in November of 2004...and it is so perfect that the verdict came in hours before Easter....hard to riot on the holiest day for Christians.
Also the two missing boys were found dead. Accidential drowning.....it is cold a rainy now after a beautiful spring day on Friday.
A very sad easter weekend for many in Milwaukee...I hope that people do find comfort in their families, faith and spiritual communities this weekend.

You are so right. I thought for sure those responsible would be found guilty here in Milwaukee. Michael E. McCann knew early on that the silence from the police dept. was problematic and asked the Federal Courts to look into this matter. Hopefully while we are peacefully waiting for the higher courts decision in this matter we will find some hope in another trial into this matter. Talk about timing. Those two young boys bodies are found and the release of that information from the police dept. is blended with the jury's finding's.

2. There is an expectation that Federal prosecutors will get involved |
|
in the Jude case.
The result was stunning to those expecting some semblance of justice.
The result was totally expected by those who understand the brotherhood of Milwaukee cops. This is just another version of the same police code that spune Bambi's life into a wreck.
