Would it be possible to start a "write-in" campaign for Gore in Iowa?

Because if they have caucuses, the nominee is decided by the number of supporters that show up at the caucus and vote for him or her. If we could find one or two people from each district in Iowa, and they could talk to a few people from each precinct and get the word out that we would like to see Al Gore as the nominee of our Party, would it be possible? It just seems to me that we need a candidate of stature and intellect, who has been right on all the important issues of the last few years, as the nomineee of our Party. That would be something no one could ignore, if it could be done?

Or he could just jump right in and start touring the early primary states.

If he wants the nomination it would not be very easy to stop him. I don't say impossible, but far, far from easy.

7. Gore/Kerry. The "Poetic Justice" ticket. That's what I would like to see

And I'll betcha most Americans would like it, too--love it, in fact. The two men who were unfairly denied the office, running together to take it back. I think it has a magical quality--and may be the only ticket that can produce the voter turnout needed to beat the Bushite corporate voting machines.

As for desperation, that is a very subjective word--the kind of word Bushites use to make common sense proposals, such as withdrawing from Iraq, seem wacko and without support. They KNOW that the proposal has A LOT of support, so they resort to subjective charaacterizations and emotional words to belittle and marginlize it. It is, in short, without substance. Desperation with regard to what?
