Iran and "War Powers Act"?
Does Bush legally need for Congress to pass an authorization of force bill before bombing Iran?

defense of this country as Iran would have used nuclear weapons against us if we had allowed it make them. So it's theoretical self-defense, pre-emptively. And then Congress (with a few exceptions) will collectively nod its heads.

5. Nope.
The war powers act allows the presidunce to do fuck all for something like 60 days before he even has to fart in the direction of congress. At that point I believe all he is required to do is notify them that we have murdered a whole pile of Iranians for no good reason.

7. Bush has 3 months to notify Congress on why he authorized military
action, if he decides to invade another country.
