A founder of Pakistan's nuclear weapons program, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is the leading figure behind a global nuclear black market that continued to operate until the fall of 2005, American, European and Pakistani officials say. Dr. Khan's network sent nuclear weapons technology to Iran, North Korea and Libya.

1. AQ Khan was working with the BFEE and was part of its' BCCI network of

dealing with terrorists for illegal arms and drugrunning, nuclear proliferation and moneylaundering.

The NYT article mentions NOTHING of who REALLY enabled Khan.

All Bush has to do is open the books on BCCI - gee - I wonder why he won't?

4. Kerry said Pakistan's nuclear proliferation needed further investigation

in 1992.

This was the first item on his long list of questions left unanswered thanks to the Bush1 administration's stonewalling of the BCCI investigation.

2. I wonder what worked with Libya....

If you think about it, getting Libya to renounce its nuclear ambitions and open up to the west was a great step. What did we offer them to make them do so?

3. Well, Bush SPUN IT as if the Iraq War was a factor, but, Kerry and other

senators said Libya had been negotiating with the US for years, starting in the Clinton administration.

Bush only finalized the deal AFTER the Iraq war started so he could spin the media and CLAIM that Libya made the deal to knuckle under to Bush and his plan to end terrorism.
