A thread about Rape is inappropriate for the Greatest Page? Do you agree?

It's kind of ironic that someone who had the guts not to be ashamed is treated like this.
Is DU officially embarrassed to have this discussion?

1. Threads only last for 24 hours on the greatest page

the thread was started at 11:30am yesterday and got onto the greatest page pretty quick, so id guess its been 24 hours

the Rape thread stayed the full 48 hours as far as I can see
