ORANJESTAD, Aruba -- A lawyer for a Dutch youth detained previously as a suspect in the disappearance of teenager Natalee Holloway said Monday that his client did not know the latest person arrested by Aruban authorities in the case.

Joseph Tacopina, a U.S. lawyer for Joran van der Sloot, said the detention of a person identified by authorities only as ``G.V.C.'' was good news for his client because it suggested the investigation was heading in a new direction.

``My client doesn't know him at all,'' Tacopina said in an interview with The Associated Press. ``He just doesn't know him, period.''

Her attitude is "if the cops arrested you, you MUST be guilty." For someone who presumably went to law school, she is incredibly ignorant of the legal system. When she was a prosecutor, she felt is was OK to withhold evidence from the defense, and now she spends her time whipping up lynch mobs for people who haven't been convicted of anything.

screwed up big time over the lost family in the motorhome story. she had them kidnapped by guys hanging around truck stops or the dad murdering the family. the family members who she questioned were really pissed off when she brought up the dad angle. guess what? the motor home slid off the road during a snow strom and it took them several days to get out to get help...poor nancy, another "dad killed the family" story down the drain
