Has anyone here EVER seen so much as the tiniest hint of politics in a Blondie cartoon..
And this comic has been around since the 20's!

Dagwood comes from a wealthy family, but when he fell in love with Blondie, a poor girl from the wrong side of the tracks, his family disowned him. that's why he works for Mr. Dithers, a friend of the family who took pity on him (and why he acts more like a friend than a boss most of the time)

4. How come all of the men in "Blondie" have knees that are about

eight inches above their ankles? (The women have normal legs, though.)

Look at any "Blondie" strip that shows men standing up, and you'll see what I mean. It's really odd.

Whoever did it, kudos to them and to the syndicate that passed this strip. There is a certain amount of censorship of older cartoon strips that aren't considered political. Could it be that TPTB decided this was mainstream enough to pass muster?
