If Roe is overturned!

http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2006-04-16-abortion-states_x.htm

Only 35% of the population would retain abortion rights as currently given.......

Northeast, California, & a few others....

A great reference to the true threat to women's reproductive rights.

1. If nothing else, it might finally ram into peoples' heads that
voting has repercussions, and it's not about "Who's cuter" or "Who you'd more like to have a beer with" or "Who's the more regular Joe".

4. Add Alaska to that list despite our fundies and neocons -
our right to abortion law passed in 1970, 3 years before Roe. It's been amended, our State Supremes shot down waiting periods and such, but one of our two Senators is pro-choice (and Repuke).

However, we still have the highest incidence of domestic violence and child abuse in the nation.
