Steve Forbes: “When We Have The Confrontation” With Iran,
“The Price of Oil Will Come Down”

FORBES: Well, it’s interesting. And about $15 a barrel on the price of oil today is worry about Iran, that crisis.

HOST: So, without Iran, the price of oil would be $15 less per barrel is what you’re saying.

FORBES: Yes, it would. There is real uncertainty, huge producer. But the bottom line with Iran is, when we have the confrontation, which we will have, we can really deal with that crisis. Then the price of oil will come down. The longer we let it fester, the higher the price of oil will stay.

2. IOW: "Come on, America ...
... back us on one more little war, and we'll give you some candy!"

Don't get in that car, boys and girls. No, Steve Forbes is not a friend of your parents who was sent to get you. He's a bad man, and he's trying to trick you. THERE IS NO CANDY!

Does anyone believe this crapola?

3. Forbes is just too creepy. Eek.
So we should invade a sovereign nation to bring down oil prices...again? Didn't work the first time.

5. Here are our wonderful 'leaders of capitalism' at work!
Bottom line - Iran bad for business. Solution - eliminate the country and lower gas prices. Genbus! Have they done an offset comparison to money spent on bombs built and soon to be deployed, against the total savings at the pump once Iran is a crater of glass?

8. Also, he said Mad Cow is good for beef prices
He really outdid himself this time. I hope someone beats him over the head with that number when Bush goes on his next killing rampage.

9. He's totally fucked
What's up with that bighead; if he's really a scion of Malcolm he's gotta be from the shallow end of that gene pool.

It has been said, bt Sy Hersh and others, Iran's one real play if attacked will be ECONOMIC, they'll take out the oil fields of Qatar and Dubai. We'll see gas in the $10@gal range.

10. It worked so well for us in Iraq didn't it?
Forbes is very rich and probably at one time inhis life a smart guy. That was then.

The Repugs babbled onh about how the economy would tank if Clinton got elected. They're playing that same song again. It was much of a hit in 92 so I can only hope it won't play well this time around either.

Guys like Forbes seem to be concerned about every last penny. Heaven forbid that they pay a bit more in taxes and go from very very rich to, well, very very rich.

11. Yes it did-The ditto-heads were so happy to invade Iraq because they
Edited on Mon Apr-17-06 06:02 PM by LaPera
were told over & over by Fox & the rest of the republican regressives, that if we illegally invade Iraq, the price of gas will go down...Some still fucking believe it and are waiting, the oil companies are now controlling the flow in Iraq to the bare minimum to keep prices high, and then pointing the finger to pipelines being blown up as the reason for the high prices...Of course the ditto-heads are believing it ALL completely...the oil companies wouldn't lie, now would they?

The same story the idiot sheep are being told, by Forbes and other fascist regressives (that they will believe) about Iran, and gas prices going down...And of course the excuses will come again from BushCo, about the still higher gas prices and the ditto's will believe them again!!!!
