Tired of typing "[div class="excerpt"]" ?

Here's a great timesaver:
1. Get the Firefox browser
2. Install the BBCode extension for Firefox
3. In the "Settings" for BBCode, go to "Custom tags" and paste the div class="excerpt" etc code in the tag column, and enter a label for it in the "label" column.
4. Thereafter, whenever you're posting a message here, just Rt click > BBCode > Custom tag > and choose whatever you labeled the tag in step 3 and paste your quote in the tag.

Btw, BBCode includes the more standard codes and symbol(½ etc) codes and includes a handy color picker.

ON EDIT...Okay, weird. The first time I tried it, it gave me a dialog box that said specifically that 1.5.0.2 wasn't supported, and it only worked with versions up to 1.4.9 or somesuch. I just tried it again, and it seems to have gone through fine. I'll know when I restart.

I'm using 1.0.7 somehow, even though I've been "checking for updates". I didn't know 1.5 was available.

I don't know why I got that message. Might have been because I had the "allow software install" feature turned off, and de-selected it via a Firefox prompt. Maybe the blocker triggered the message. Anyway, I'm stoked...I didn't know that menu was even there! I've been typing all those damned bb codes for so long! AARGH!

it should appear...then a drop-down menu for adding the CUSTOM code.
