Do it EVERY time you get gas. Everywhere.

I used to make sure no one was watching, now I don't give a damn. Turns out people will either laugh or say "right on". I hope they go get markers and start doing it too.

later, my parents added a charger se.

right now, my wife and i have 1 car between us- a 2001 vw new beetle.

in between the galaxie and the new beetle, i've owned a wide variety of vehicles...from a suzuki 550 to a vw microbus to an olds 98 and lots in between...NONE of them were bought "new" by me, and 5 of them were amc pacers(perhaps explaining my affinity for the new beetles). my favorite was a 69 lesabre convertible.

Isn't that how they described the Pacer. Oh, I loved that car! What ever happened to AMC? The Eagle was a great vehicle as well. Most people with kids or wheelchairs could really get away with something no bigger than a minivan or Explorer. I just don't get the affinity folks have for the Hummer. When I no longer had to haul my kids around with me everywhere I went, I felt guilty driving my larger vehicle and downsized. I no longer have room to haul them and their friends around the universe - an unexpected bonus!

I share your anger, but, c'mon, we live so frickin' fat in the U.S. Did you grow up with a petrochemically green lawn, eat your share of red meat (huge expenditure of gas raising beef), fly the friendly skies, go for long drives, etc. etc.? We are all at fault for being wasteful energy hogs.

Also, this does not make us look more appealing than the alternative in any way. I seriously doubt that some freeper will read that message and think, "Gosh, those angry progressives are right. I better register Democrat."
