Surprise!!! Freakers Idea for GPO win in 06...Demonize Democrats
It's like a broken record, but I guess if you've learned that you can fool 51% of the Amurikan people once...you just keep playing the same tune.

They've been "strategerying" over there at Freaker Republic and Townhall, and have come to the brilliant conclusion that the way to win is to demonize the Democrats. It's brilliant I tell you.

All you need to do is tell the Amurikan people that the Democrats are going to "raise your taxes, kill your babies, make your 6 year old son watch Brokeback Mountain non-stop, invite Osama to a state dinner, gut the military, support the terrorist, open our border to "brown people", crash the stock market, close Wal-mart, sodomize your daughters, sell nukes to Lybia, burn your bibles...and did I mention...RAISE YOUR TAXES?"... voila ...GOP Victory.

The biggest problem for Republicans is their unwillingness to go on the political offensive. The Republicans seem focused on explaining to Americans just how good they have it. And Republicans are right: The economy is up; fewer and fewer Americans are being killed in Iraq; there hasn't been a terrorist attack for almost five years. Yet Americans still have the persistent perception that something is drastically wrong. For electoral purposes, it doesn't matter why Americans are so pessimistic. The bottom line is that they are. In a one-sided political conversation in which your opponent defines you, you will always look bad. Bringing a "new tone" to Washington wears thin when your opponent refuses to abide by the Marquis of Queensbury rules. That's why, if the Republicans want to win in 2006, they're going to have to remind Americans not only why the GOP deserves votes, but why the Democratic Party doesn't.

Democrats cannot be trusted to tolerate the viewpoints of religious people. It is Democrats across the country who seek to legitimize homosexual marriage; it is Democrats across the country who seek to keep the legal abomination of Roe v. Wade on the books so that ordinary Americans cannot vote on abortion; it is Democrats across the country who want God out of the public schools and courthouses.

If Republicans want to win in 2006, they must emphasize this simple message: Judge the Democrats by their friends. They protect terrorists for political expediency; they protect illegal immigrants for political expediency; they protect Islamofascists in Iraq for political expediency; they protect those who do not work at the expense of those who do for political expediency; they protect radical abortion and homosexuality advocates for political expediency. Americans may be unhappy with Republicans, but Republicans must make clear that the alternative is a country run by those who consistently side with enemies of the American people.

Can the American people really be this stupid????

3. If only the media would report the "good news"
The Repukes wouldn't have to waste time telling Americans how great everything is.

I'm in the Navy, and this reminds me of some of the funny stuff we come up with to motivate people.

- Tell 'em to "suck less", like..."shipmate, you need to suck less"

- Or in a friendly competition with a rival fighter squadron, we'll all chant "we're not worst, we're not worst, we're not worst"!!

Never thought I would see "we're not worst" used in a political campaign.

Vote Republican...we suck less

4. This is funny
The economy is up; fewer and fewer Americans are being killed in Iraq;

Hey everybody! Look how great things are! You're not as likely to be killed in a foreign country for a lie!

5. It only took me 3 seconds
until I read "fewer and fewer Americans are being killed in Iraq" before I stopped reading one word further. What would be the point? Am I suppose to think that the mental midget knows just how many Americans have been killed so far in this April month? Or, that I don't?

6. No you're supposed to vote Republican
because fewer and fewer troops are being killed each day. (I guess they really don't watch anything but Faux news, or listen to anyone but Limpballs). Actually caught a part of the drug addled child molester's show the other day, and one of his arguments about everthing going "rosey" in Iraq was that fewer American troops per month were being killed. This was before the recent April numbers began rolling in.

Talk about lowering standards. Makes you wonder what kind of contempt they must have for the intelligence of the average American voter that they think this is a "winning" strategery.

There's a campaign slogan in there somewhere..."Vote Republican, becuase fewer and fewer of America's finest are being slaughtered each day".

we don't leave the green zone anymore. And we even have to dodge mortar shells in there.

18. Sadly...
Makes you wonder what kind of contempt they must have for the intelligence of the average American voter that they think this is a "winning" strategery.

Sadly, the intelligence of the average American is dropping thanks to lack of good educational funding and/or curriculum and the lousy, corprate media. Oh - and the incurious nature of too many Americans.

7. This is 100% correct
They know they can't win on the issues - so their hope is to demonise Democrats until they win that way.

8. Wow, that's INCREDIBLY original and creative thinking! I can't think of a
time Republicans have ever been on the political offensive, or demonized Democrats!

These are REALLY GREAT ideas!

Has anyone called Karl Rove? He'll want to hear about this right away! :sarcasm:

10. How good Americans have it?

People working two jobs to survive.

Wages flat or deflated.

Running in place.

I wonder why Americans don't understand how wonderful it is?

What a bunch of utter & total MORONS!

14. "... just how good they have it"
It's a fundamental pessimism intrinsic to republicans that they don't think things can be any better - and that, NO MATTER HOW BAD THINGS ARE.

And then when you go and make things better (e.g. The New Deal), they refuse to acknowledge that things are better.

The republican party motto: Things cannot get any better - they can only get worse. SO CLAP LOUDER!

Buncha jackasses - in virtue of their ingrained pessimism, they don't deserve America.

protecting terrorists? I really don't understand that at all. Their war mongering creates them, yet they always leave that part out.
