Poll question: Would you rather work for a can't miss winner campaign or a tougher one?
Edited on Tue Apr-18-06 02:07 PM by undisclosedlocation
I've literally never worked on a winning campaign, so in my case my thinking (such as it is) is conditioned by worrying about somehow hoodooing somebody who might otherwise have a chance. I admit that this is totally insane, but there you are. I might really work for a no-chance liberal Dem candidate in incredibly conservative Lexington County SC. The sane arguments for doing so would be that the mis- mal- and nonadministration has done such a criminally reckless job that lifelong Republicans, especially actual fiscal conservatives, would have to be willing at least to think about a change. Anyway, whaddyathink?

1. If you mean volunteer, it doesn't matter to me.
If you mean salaried employee with a career track, I'd rather go for a tough, nearly impossible campaign.

2. You sound a little like the "TARGETED RACE" crowd. They do not want to run
anybody here in TX. Because Democrats don't run the Rethug get away without anyone calling them on their lies. We have to fight them everywhere. Ask Dr. Dean.

I'm working (as a volunteer) on www.stoverforcongress.us we are getting no help from national party. They say we need at least 600,000 to 1 million dollars. john "shimbush" shimkus already has 1 million or more. He's on the energy committee which can be very lucrative. I think we might have a chance because of bushes problems. We need help.........
