You know, a year ago I wrote an LTTE suggesting Zarqawi was a phantom

created by the Bush administration to put an evil face on the Iraq opposition. They couldn't use bin Laden. That would only emphasize the fact that they didn't get him in Afghanistan. So they used a man who no one had seen and who had actually been reported killed in Afghanistan.

Now there are reports that the Pentagon fabricated the Zarqawi links. Looks like I might have hit the nail on the head.

But I'm no rocket scientist or psychic. I just don't trust the Bush administration and I don't believe anything they say.

I think the moral of the story is if you have doubts that Bush and his cartel are telling you the truth, trust your instincts because they're probably lying.

have suspected that the legend of Zarqawi was just that. Note that he may actually be a real live individual, or even a long since dead individual, but it is nearly certain that his legend is coming straight from the Ministry of Disinformation.

7. I admit that I thought you were over the top

I admit that I believed this guy was a real force with real power and was creating real problems. I didn't think his status was hyped and thought that those who believed it was a propaganda ploy were being paranoid. I didn't post my thoughts, but that's what I thought.

I'm a pretty cynical person. I try not to buy into bullshit and I usually don't.

I need to remember that everything, simply everything, that the Cheney Administration says is simply a godawful, vicious, sick lie and they are the most mendacious gaggle of faux-humanity in millenia.
